Obama Admin leaking CIA documents to give Obama cover in foreign policy debate on Benghazi

This White House is unbelievable. According to Fox News reporter Catherine Herridge, she’s been informed by House Intelligence Committee Chair Mike Rodgers that there is “a concerted campaign by people within the administration with specific leaks to the media to try and bolster the statements of people like Ambassador Susan Rice.” Herridge goes on to say that it’s a very one-sided leaking, that they aren’t going to leak documents that undercut this idea that it was a protest.

In other words the Obama administration is leaking documents to give Obama cover in the foreign policy debate on Monday. It’s that simple. They know Romney is going to attack the president for misinforming Americans about what went on and they want to make it appear that Susan Rice’s story was legitimate so the president can be ‘offended’ again like he was at the last debate at the suggestion he misled the American people.

Even now, the Washington Post has already released an article entitled “CIA documents supported Susan Rice’s description of Benghazi attacks” and it begins by saying that Romney “misfired” in suggesting that Rice’s “Sunday Show” version of events wasn’t backed up by CIA intelligence.

CBS News affiliate calls 2012 presidential race for Barack Obama weeks ahead of election

The 2012 presidential election is still more than two weeks away, but on Friday a CBS News affiliate in Arizona called the race for President Barack Obama.

For 17 seconds, Phoenix, Arizona CBS News affiliate KPHO ran a lower third graphic that showed that Obama had won the Nov. 6 election over Gov. Mitt Romney with 99% of the precincts reporting. The lower third graphic appeared around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, during an episode of “The People’s Court.”

The CBS News graphic showed Obama winning the election with 43 percent of the vote nationwide to Romney’s 40 percent -– or 40,237,966 votes to 38,116,216. It is unclear who garnered the other 17 percent in the fictional election results.

KPHO’s general manager did not return The Daily Caller’s request for comment by time of publication.

Was listening to Bill Bennett this morning on the way in.

Bill asked the guest about China and about Russia.

This is the FIRST TIME I've heard a talk show host ANYWHERE (except maybe Beck) mention anything at all about China.

I didn't catch the guest's full name (it was Michael Chang I believe - but I am not sure) and he laid it out carefully. China's military has wrested control from the civilians and are using it to press for an advantage in the South China sea, off the coast of the Philippines and near Japan. The US CANCELLED Naval exercises with Japan when China started this nonsense.

On the Russian side he stated clearly that we're doing ALL the wrong things with Russia. We're allowing them to get away with an increase in nuclear forces and more.

It was a clear and concise report from the guy - and it's the FIRST time I've heard this mentioned anywhere else, on any news or talk show.

It's 15 days from the elections and tonight is the Foreign Affairs debate. I wasn't going to watch, but I think I will now.

I HOPE Romney has his act together on this tonight.

U.N. Official Warns: Electing Mitt Romney Means ‘Democratic Mandate for Torture’

The United Nations and its affiliates have been weighing in on U.S. elections with increasing frequency lately– and it’s understandable, considering a wildly disproportionate amount of its funding comes from the United States. In the most recent event, the U.N. special rapporteur on counter-terrorism and human rights raised what he considers to be the “alarming” implications of a Republican victory.

Ben Emmerson lamented Mitt Romney’s position on waterboarding: “There is no doubt that the Romney administration would be able to claim…a democratic mandate for torture…That would put Romney as the first world leader in history to be able to claim [that].”

While he also objected to the secrecy surrounding President Obama’s drastically expanded use of drones, he apparently considers them a preferable alternative.

Emmerson says he plans to voice his concerns about a Republican victory at an upcoming U.N. meeting, but is not being quiet in the meantime.
The Canadian Press relates:

Emmerson, who was in Toronto to attend a symposium on the negative impacts post-9/11 security measures have had on human rights, said Obama had begun to realign U.S. policy with international law and the universal abhorrence of torture.
Romney’s approach was now threatening to undermine that progress, he said.

“The re-introduction of torture under a Romney administration would significantly increase the threat levels to (Americans) at home and abroad,” Emmerson said.
“Such a policy, if adopted, would expose the American people to risks the Obama administration is not currently exposing them to.” [Emphasis added]

The third debate between President Obama and Governor Romney will focus on foreign policy, where such issues are likely to come up.

However, Twitchy captured a number of tweets from Twitter users already weighing in on the topic. “It seems that most Americans don’t really like the United Nations telling them what to do,” they summarize.

One commenter concluded: “Defund and deport this useless nuisance.”

I'm listening to Hannity right now and heard him talk about one poling group calling Ohio 47%-47% Obama to Romney.

I really don't see how the numbers are that close in Ohio. Everywhere I'm going in my service area I am seeing TONS of pro-Romney and anti-Obama signs and stickers.

I'm cautiously optimistic Ohio will be a pleasant surprise come Election Day.

For SOE, the Tampa based corporation purchased by SCYTL in January, supplies the election software which records, counts, and reports the votes of Americans in 26 states–900 total jurisdictions–across the nation. ..." Will cities all over America erupt in violence if Mitt Romney wins the election? Right now we are probably witnessing the most divisive campaign in modern U.S. history, and both sides truly hate one another. Even CNN is running articles about how polarized politics in America has become and how vicious both sides can be.

There is a lot of anger and frustration out there that has been bottled up for a long time, and this election could end up being a trigger event that releases a lot of it. Both sides are entirely convinced that they can win this tightly contested election, and one side is going to feel bitterly disappointed when it does not happen.

Both sides are talking as if it is going to be "the end of America" or "the end of the world" if they lose this election. This is particularly true when it comes to Obama supporters. On social networking sites such as Twitter, many of them have actually been proclaiming that Mitt Romney wants to "exterminate black people" and many of them have been openly threatening to harm him if he does win the election. This is a very dangerous sign, and these threats should be taken very seriously.

Of course a lot of Romney supporters are also likely to go absolutely insane if Obama ends up winning. In fact, one Romney supporter apparently put a bullet through the window of an Obama campaign office in Denver the other day. But when it comes to threatening to do crazy things if the election does not go their way, Obama supporters definitely take the cake.

Dan Rather implies Ohio GOP could steal the election

Former CBS newsman Dan Rather warned Facebook fans of his show on axs.tv that Mitt Romney could conceivably take Ohio, particularly since the state is controlled by Republicans.

“Keep in mind: The whole upper tier of Ohio state government is in the hands of the GOP now,” Rather explained in a Facebook post this morning. “In very close voting they have the power to influence what votes are counted and how.”


Rather warned, “Remember Ohio, Bush v. Kerry in 2004 and Florida, Bush v. Gore in 2000.”

I thought Romney did a pretty good job in tonight's debate, especially with regards to addressing the threat of Russia.

I do think that there was a missed opportunity when Obama accused Romney of "Cold War thinking" that Romney could have countered by telling Obama he might want to let Putin know that considering Russia just carried out their largest nuclear drill since the Cold War.
