What gets me is that the Samuel L Jackson bullshit works. What the hell has our citizenry turned into? Apparently a bunch of ultra-ignorant, culture chasing, amoral, mega-liberal, I'll-vote-for-him-cus-he-bought-me-a-phone fucking morons. How can the majority of people not care that virtually every word that escapes Obama's substandard brain is a fabrication? I'm fed up.

The writing is on the wall. Bring it. Maybe it's time for an internal ass kicking.

I might need that. No one around here seems to care. They're all riding in a nice comfy handbasket.

I used to think it was hilarious. Now it depresses me.

Mitt Romney close to President Obama in national poll but slipping in swing states

    10/01/2012 12:47 PM

    By Callum Borchers, Globe Correspondent
Mitt Romney is almost neck-and-neck with President Obama among nationwide voters, according to a Washington Post/ABC News poll released on Monday, but the Republican nominee has fallen behind by double digits in the swing states most likely to decide the outcome of the election.

Obama’s swing-state lead is 52 percent to 41 percent among likely voters in New Hampshire, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Wisconsin, Iowa, Colorado and Nevada, the poll showed. Nationally, the race is a virtual dead heat, with the president up, 49-47
    .

The 11-point gap in the swing-state survey is wider than other recent polls, but surveys over the last week have consistently shown Obama pulling ahead in the election’s battlegrounds.
Romney has an opportunity to cut into Obama’s lead on Wednesday in the first debate of the campaign.
Romney’s team has tried to minimize expectations and has cast the president as the favorite -- a time-tested campaign strategy designed to set up a surprise win. But on Sunday, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie boasted that Romney will turn the tide with a strong debate performance in Denver.

“You saw the change in those polls happen very quickly, and I’m here to tell you this morning it can happen very quickly back the other way,” Christie added. “And I think the beginning of that is Wednesday night, when Governor Romney, for the first time, gets on the same stage as the president of the United States, and people can make a direct comparison about them and their visions for the future.’’
The Washington Post/ABC poll showed likely voters across the country believe by a 55-31 margin that Obama will win Wednesday’s debate.

Skewed Columbus Dispatch poll of Ohio shows padded Obama lead

The Columbus Dispatch poll of Ohio released late yesterday is yet another skewed poll of one of the key swing states that over-sample Democratic voters to produce results favorable to the president. The poll reports President Obama leading over Mitt Romney by a margin of 51 percent to 42 percent. But this is based on a sample that includes 8.6 percent more Democrats than it does Republicans for a state electorate that is made up of one percent more Republicans than Democrats. This 9.6 percent over-sampling of Democrats gives Obama a nine percent lead in survey data that should show Obama leading by only 1.8 percent instead, a difference lower than the survey's 2.2 percent margin of error. As with many recent surveys, such as the CNN/ORC poll last month and the previous Washington Post/ABC News poll, the skew favors Obama by several percent.
The Columbus Dispatch poll, gistered voters that included 1662 likely voters, surveyed between September 19-29, via land line and cell phone calls and has a margin of error of 2.2 percent.
The Columbus Dispatch poll includes 1662 likely voters, of which 42.9 percent are Democrats, 34.3 percent are Republicans and 19.4 percent are independent or unenrolled voters. The state's registered voters include 37 percent Republicans, 36 percent Democrats and 27 percent independents. The difference means the Columbus Dispatch poll over-sampled Democratic voters by 9.6 percent.
The Columbus Dispatch poll reports at 51 percent to 42 percent lead for Obama. By calculation from the data reported in the poll, the following breakdowns are arrived at for support of the candidates among Democrats, Republicans and independents. Democrats support Obama 93 percent to three percent among Democrats while Mitt Romney leads 90 percent to five percent among Republican voters and Obama leading 45 percent to 42 percent among Independent voters.
When the data from the Columbus Dispatch poll is unskewed by weighting their reported percentages between Romney and Obama to the partisan of the registered voters of Ohio, the overall picture of the race is different. With Republicans weighted 37 percent, Democrats at 36 percent and Independents at 27 percent, the results calculate to Obama leading much closer, by a 47.5 percent to 45.7 percent with about three percent undecided. A large majority of the undecided voters, who usually break for the challenger in a presidential race involving the incumbent president, can be expected to swing toward Romney and lead to a likely Romney majority on election day according to this polling data.
This survey is not the only such poll recently to be skewed by over-sampling Democrats to skew the results in favor of Barack Obama. Last week, the last CNN/ORC poll was similarly skewed. Last month on the Fox News segment “Campaign Insiders” today, Democratic pollsters Pat Caddell and Doug Schoen both confirmed their belief that major polls are skewed in favor of the Democrats by over-sampling of Democratic voters when the surveys are conducted.
So many of these skewed polls have been unskewed here in this column they are now averaged, in unskewed form, in the new UnskewedPolls.com UnSkewed Average of Polls that today shows Romney leading by 7.4 percent.

AND people want Obama to have another term. Yet another doublespeak from the liar in chief. Denounces child soldiers as being slaves, then gives a pass to countries that use this practice, only days after that speech.

Obama waives sanctions on countries that use child soldiers

Posted By Josh Rogin Monday, October 1, 2012 - 1:48 PM Share

U.S. President Barack Obama issued a new executive order last week to fight human trafficking, touting his administration's handling of the issue.

"When a little boy is kidnapped, turned into a child soldier, forced to kill or be killed -- that's slavery," Obama said in a speech at the Clinton Global Initiative. "It is barbaric, and it is evil, and it has no place in a civilized world. Now, as a nation, we've long rejected such cruelty."

But for the third year in a row, Obama has waived almost all U.S. sanctions that would punish certain countries that use child soldiers, upsetting many in the human rights community.

Late Friday afternoon, Obama issued a presidential memorandum waiving penalties under the Child Soldiers Protection Act of 2008 for Libya, South Sudan, and Yemen, penalties that Congress put in place to prevent U.S. arms sales to countries determined by the State Department to be the worst abusers of child soldiers in their militaries. The president also partially waived sanctions against the Democratic Republic of the Congo to allow some military training and arms sales to that country.

Human rights advocates saw the waivers as harmful to the goal of using U.S. influence to urge countries that receive military assistance to move away from using child soldiers and contradictory to the rhetoric Obama used in his speech.

"After such a strong statement against the exploitation of children, it seems bizarre that Obama would give a pass to countries using children in their armed forces and using U.S. tax money to do that," saidJesse Eaves, the senior policy advisor for child protection at World Vision.

The Obama administration doesn't want to upset its relationships with countries that it needs for security cooperation, but the blanket use of waivers is allowing the administration to avoid the law's intent, which was to use force the U.S. government to put a greater priority on human rights and child protection when doling out military aid, he said.

"The intent in this law was to use this waiver authority only in extreme circumstances, yet this has become an annual thing and this has become the default of this administration," Eaves said.

The Romney campaign has made Obama's record on human rights a feature of its foreign-policy critique, with top advisors accusing the president of deprioritizing the issue, often in sweeping terms.

"Barack Obama has broken with a tradition that goes back to Woodrow Wilson about human rights and values animating our foreign policy. This administration has not been an effective voice for human rights," said Romney campaign senior advisor for foreign policy Rich Williamson, who also served as George W. Bush's special envoy to Sudan, told The Cable in July.

Bushsigned the child-soldiers law in 2008. It prohibits U.S. military education and training, foreign military financing, and other defense-related assistance to countries that actively recruit troops under the age of 18. Countries are designated as violators if the State Department's annual Trafficking in Persons report identifies them as recruiting child soldiers. The original bill was sponsored by Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL).

Obama first waived the sanctions in 2010, the first year they were to go into effect. At that time, the White House failed to inform Congress or the NGO community of its decision in advance, setting off a fierce backlash. A justification memo obtained by The Cable at the time made several security-related arguments for the waivers. Sudan was going through a fragile transition, for example. Yemen was crucial to counterterrorism cooperation, the administration argued.

But NSC Senior Director for Multilateral Affairs Samantha Power told NGO leaders at the time that the waivers would not become a recurring event.

"Our judgment was: Brand them, name them, shame them, and then try to leverage assistance in a fashion to make this work," Power said, saying the administration wanted to give the violator countries one more year to show progress. "Our judgment is we'll work from inside the tent."

But the next year, in 2011, Obama waived almost all the sanctions once again, using largely the same justifications, except that the administration argued that the law didn't apply to South Sudan because it wasn't a country until July 2011. Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE) tried to pass new legislation to force Obama to notify Congress before issuing the waivers.

Fortenberry called the decision an "assault on human dignity," and said, "Good citizens of this country who do not want to be complicit in this grave human rights abuse must challenge this administration."
This year, the State Department held a briefing for NGO leaders and human rights activists to answer questions about the waivers and try to ally their concerns.

"They are addressing the concerns of the legislation in a more pragmatic and useful way than in the past, but they still have a ways to go and this was a clear missed opportunity," Rachel Stohl, a senior associate at the Stimson Center who attended the briefing, told The Cable. "You want the waivers to be used very sparingly but some of these countries get the waiver every year."

Stohl rejects the administration's argument that countries like Libya and South Sudan are so fragile that they can't be leaned on to do better on human rights.
"I would argue that this is exactly the right time to make clear to Libya what the parameters are," she said.

Jo Becker, advocacy director for the children's rights division at Human Rights Watch, told The Cable that where the United States has used some pressure, such as in the DRC, where there was a partial cutoff of military aid last year, there was a positive effect.

"After years of foot-dragging, Congo is close to signing a U.N. action plan to end its use of child soldiers," she said. "But in other countries with child soldiers, including South Sudan, Libya, and Yemen, the U.S. continues to squander its leverage by giving military aid with no conditions."

NSC Spokesman Tommy Vietor did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

This part of the the Anti-Colonialist who hates his country dismantling plans.

There is a growing pattern here.

As a Senator in 2007, Obama backed the "Muslim-Christian Battle" in Africa. Children were taken from their families and made to fight and hunt down political enemies which are Christians, this has now spread throughout the Middle East in the Administrations Arab Spring.

The Obama Administration's foreign policy has been stirring up Radical Muslim fire ant mounts throughout the Middle East over the past year while at the same time organizing and installing the most Radical groups to power.

Not just to create an atmosphere for a new Caliphate to take hold, but to also take in large numbers of Islamic refugees to the United States.

He didn't just started this effort after his Arab Spring in 2011, he did this on his first day in office:

On his first official day in the White House, President Barack Obama was on the horn to President Mahmoud Abbas.

“The spokesman for President Abbas revealed that Mr. Obama had told the Palestinian leader that their conversation was his first with a foreign statesman since taking office.” (TimesOnLine, Jan. 22, 2009).

Some thought that first call to the leader of the Palestinian authority was for spite. Others for statesman like reasons, still others for appeasement.

Given that a clip from Al-Jazeera televised Hamas-controlled Palestinians “burning up the phone bank from Gaza” to rally support for his presidential campaign, perhaps the telephone call was made out of gratitude.

Seven days later on January 27, President Obama signed Presidential Determination No. 2009-15, which allocates $20.3 million for Palestinian migration and refugee assistance.

Today a memo sent by President Obama to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton seems to invite Hamas to “migrate” into the United States of America.

The presidential determination covers the “Unexpected Urgent Refugee and Migration Needs Related to Gaza.”

“By the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, including section 2(c)(1) of the Migration and Refugee Assistance Act of 1962 (the “Act”), as amended (22 U.S.C. 2601), I hereby determine, pursuant to section 2 (c) (1) of the Act, that it is important to the national interest to furnish assistance under the Act in an amount not to exceed $20.3 million from the United States Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance Fund for the purpose of meeting unexpected and urgent refugee and migration needs, including by contributions to international, governmental, and nongovernmental organizations and payment of administrative expenses of Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration of the Department of State, related to humanitarian needs of Palestinian refugees and conflict victims in Gaza. (Italics CFP’s).

“You are authorized and directed to publish this memorandum in the Federal Register,” President Obama instructs the new Secretary of State.

Two days before Obama’s inauguration, Israel began pulling its troops out of Gaza.

One week after his inauguration, President Obama designated $20.3 million to the Palestinians in Gaza.

What security measures are in place to keep Hamas terrorists from gaining free access into the U.S.?

“Is President Obama opening the floodgates and inviting Hamas to “migrate” to the U.S.A.?

Will injustices in America ever go away completely?

    by: j. grant swank, jr | published: 07 01, 2008

Note what B. Hussein Obama says in his own words. They are from his books entitled “Dreams of My Father” and “Audacity of Hope.

In “Audacity of Hope” he writes: “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction” The quote comes from page 261 of the paperback edition of “The Audacity of Hope.

    B. Hussein was writing about the injustices suffered by some in America. In that context he wrote that sentence.

Will injustices in America ever go away completely? No. We live in an imperfect world. Therefore, will the situation ever arise by which Muslims in the United States will cry out for B. Hussein to lean in their favor. Of course. And will he?

Well, he’s already said he will “stand with the Muslims.” Need we go any further?

More from “Dreams of My Father,” B. Hussein writes: “I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.

And further in that same book: “I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.

There is more: “There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.

Has the Jeremiah Wright twenty year tutoring of anti-white, pro-blackism wedded to B. Hussein’s perspective regarding blacks and whites? No doubt.

    B. Hussein writes in “Dreams of My Father” that “it remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.

This is particularly telling and frightening: “I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.

Did you get that? Malcolm X, racist who despises white people, is his hero.

Concerning his father, note: “He comes from a father who was a Muslim,” said civil rights author Juan Williams of National Public Radio. “I mean, I think that given we’re at war with Muslim extremists, that presents a problem.

In addition, Obama’s stepfather was a practicing Muslim.

Now we have him carrying with him a Hindu charm. Because of this, Hindus have congregated worldwide to celebrate B. Hussein’s election as US President.

For instance, in India there is the All-India Congress Committee member Brij Mohan Bhama having organized an 11-day religious ceremony at Karol Bagh for B. Hussein’s success in the presidential elections. All this is because Hindus learned that B. Hussein carries a miniature Hanuman idol in his pocket.

A larger configuration of the charm is formed as an impressive idol to be mailed to B. Hussein.

“We will ensure that Mr. Obama receives the idol by August 24, a day before the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado,” said Mr. Bhama.

No wonder B. Hussein truly despises biblical Christians usually referred to as “evangelicals.” His situation ethics relativistic liberal religion is antithetical to biblical Christianity.

If in the Oval Office, he will see to it that biblical Christianity is erased completely. There will not be one sign of the Judeo-Christian heritage left once B. Hussein is in the White House.

I want to call your attention to a serious issue.

We all know that Obama and the Democrats want to issue a mass amnesty to all illegal aliens and we know that includes a lot of people from Mexico and South American countries.

We also know that many of these illegals are anti America, criminals and in fact many are terrorists.

But.. there's something else looming on the horizon and.. it makes me wonder if this whole scenario might not have been planned...

"Israel National News recently reported that the Obama administration has decided to
allow Islamic professor Tariq Ramadan to enter the United States.
Ramadan, an Egyptian who currently lives in Switzerland, is a leading
member of Europe's Muslim Brotherhood branch and is the grandson of the
movement's founder. He was invited to teach at the University of Notre
Dame in 2004, but the Bush administration revoked his visa because
of donations he made to a blacklisted charity.

However, the Obama administration has now decided to lift the ban and
possibly allow Ramadan and Adam Habib, another Muslim professor, onto
    U.S. soil.

"I'm sure you've heard many times that Washington, DC, is now flooded with
Muslims in very high positions in the U.S. administration, and these
Muslims already control the gates," notes Avi Lipkin,
an Israeli scholar and author who has traveled throughout the U.S. to
warn Americans about the threat of Islam. "The floodgates are open. The
Muslims are coming in in tremendous numbers into the U.S."

But he warns that the floodgates will only get worse when illegal aliens gain their amnesty.

"What we will be seeing, I'm afraid, will be an amnesty for the illegal
immigrants in America," Lipkin laments. "Once the amnesty takes place
for the Latin Americans, then they will get ready for the next wave of
illegals, which will be the tens of millions of Muslims who are going to
be flooding into the U.S., especially Egyptians and Palestinians."

Meanwhile, the State Department has declared that it no longer considers Ramadan or Habib to be a threat to the United States."

Is that the same State Department that just sent the NYC Imam on a tour of Muslim countries with our tax dollars?

The same State Department that is spending millions of our tax dollars to renovate mosques around the world?

We all know Obama is exempting huge segments of the population from his "Obamacare". Those of us who know a little math already realize that Obamacare cannot be funded. It is just impossible.

We also know that Obama has exempted big groups, Muslims, of course, from being subject to Obamacare.

So every day, there are fewer and fewer of us who will be paying for the tens of millions of new voters the Democrats are currently lusting after.

We've seen France crippled by the millions of Muslims to whom they gave sanctuary. Most of these Muslims live on welfare and drain the funds from the working French.

We've seen the crimes the Muslims commit, especially against non-Muslim women who don't cover up to suit them.

When Obama said hope and change... we never knew how much change he meant. This country could change into something we no longer even recognize.

Ten of millions of Muslims and other foreign nationals from Mexico and Latin America will completely alter the United States, forever.

All this, added to the fact that we already know the Federal government will not protect us and does not want to allow us to protect ourselves... what is happening in Egypt could very well be happening here within a year or two.

Please... act now while you still can.

Insist that there be no amnesty for illegal aliens and... do everything you can to stop the flood of Muslims into this country.

In the latest report on Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh’s first trip outside the Gaza Strip, Jordanian media is reporting that Haniyeh was In the Sudan where meetings were held to discuss Hamas “joining the Muslim Brotherhood. According to a Maan News Agency report:

LONDON (Ma’an) — Hamas leaders are holding meetings in Sudan to discuss joining the Muslim Brotherhood, the London-based Ash-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported Saturday. Some 59 members of Hamas’ Shura Council met in Khartoum to discuss creating a separate branch of the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine, the report said. Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh met Muslim Brotherhood chairman Muhammad Badie on Dec. 26 during his visit to Cairo. A Hamas delegation, including Haniyeh and Hamas chief Khalid Mashaal, is in Khartoum and met Sudanese President Omar Bashir on Thursday. In October, a Muslim Brotherhood delegation visited the Gaza Strip for the first time. The party had been curbed by US-aligned Hosni Mubarak but it has been empowered by a strong showing in elections since the president’s ouster. “

In fact, the Hamas charter already states states that it is ” is one of the wings of the Muslim Brothers in Palestine” and an early media report indicated that shortly after Hamas took over the Gaza strip, Muslim Brotherhood representatives were present to review Hamas military formations. In 2007, a Hamas journalist acknowledged the role that the “international Muslim Brotherhood” has played in providing funds for the purchase of weapons and in 2008, an Israeli TV station reportedreport has documented the Hamas fund-raising activities of the Union of Good, a coalition of Islamic charities linked to the Brotherhood that provides financial support to both the Hamas “social” infrastructure, as well as its terrorist activities. Previous posts have also discussed the worldwide campaign orchestrated by the global Brotherhood against Israeli actions in Gaza during the 2008-2009 conflict with Israel. Anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli incitement in Hamas media is commonly reported.

Previous posts have reported on other aspects of Haniyeh’s first trip outside of the Gaza Strip including the visit to the headquarters of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood and his presence in Turkey for meetings with the Turkish Prime Minister and where he reportedly received a standing ovation from members of Erdogans AKP members at the Turkish parliament
that Muslim Brotherhood “representatives” had traveled to Gaza from Egypt through the open border to meet with Hamas.

Hamas is supported financially and politically by the global Muslim Brotherhood and a NEFA Foundation Remember, CAIR is Hamas, according to a federal judge.

The Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated the nations highest office.

The DHS has radical Muslim elements in power bringing in refugees from Palestine and Egypt.

LAPD says Iranian and Hezbollah terrorists are active in California

Los Angeles Police Deputy Chief Michael Downing reportedly told members of the LAPD’s counter-terrorism unit on Wednesday that the LAPD is currently tracking local Iranian and Hezbollah agents that may initiate attacks in Southern California if war erupts between the U.S. and Iran.

CBS in Los Angeles reports that Deputy Chief Michael Downing told the LAPD counter-terrorism unit:
“In this region we have active terrorist plots, in this region, right now,” said Deputy Chief Michael Downing, commanding officer of the LAPD’s counter-terrorism unit.
The remarks come on the heels of controversial new guidelines approved by the Los Angeles Police Commission on Tuesday regarding when LAPD officers can document suspicious behavior they believe could be linked to terrorism.

The new policy, LAPD officials argue will help protect the public from what they said was the very real threat of terrorism. However, civil liberties groups fear that the policy violates protected privacy rights.
"We ought to be ashamed of ourselves," said attorney Jim Lafferty of the National Lawyers Guild. He said the program, which also encourages residents to contact police about suspicions, would encourage neighbors to spy on neighbors.
Not to worry, Deputy Downing assured members of the commission that no one would be targeted because of race, creed or religion.
"It has nothing to do with profiling people, it is about behavior," he said.
In addition to members of Iranian and Hezbollah terrorist organizations, Downing said LAPD is also currently eyeing members of sovereign citizen, homegrown violent extremists, animal rights groups and others.

Peter Bibring, a Senior Staff Attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California accused the LAPD of breaking a promise to make an additional change that would require officers to have a "reasonable suspicion" of an illegal act before they documented the activity.
"It does not reflect our most fundamental concern," Bibring said. "It targets lawful activity."
Downing said no such promise was made. LAPD officials said officers need to be vigilant for activity that might be lawful but also might be a sign of an impending terrorist attack. Huh?

The LAPD said its suspicious activity reporting standards meet those adopted by the federal government.

Federal suspicious activity reporting (SAR) program standards for identifying precursors to terrorism include commonplace activities such as using binoculars, taking pictures, drawing diagrams and taking notes.

Federal SAR programs have been highly controversial for targeting innocent people, stopped by police for minor traffic infractions end up having their personal information collected for inclusion in fusion centers.

The United States Department of Homeland Security funded Fusion centers have been criticized for the massive amount of personal information secretly collected and shared. Without oversight, members of the public that pose no threat to national security unknowingly are entered into a database as terrorist threats.

One example of a non-criminal, constitutionally protected activity, the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California website says, is taking a photograph. The ACLU argues:
"Taking photographs of things that are plainly visible from public spaces is a constitutional right – and that includes federal buildings, transportation facilities, and police and other government officials carrying out their duties. Unfortunately, there is a widespread, continuing pattern of law enforcement officers ordering people to stop taking photographs from public places, and harassing, detaining and arresting those who fail to comply."

Officials: Iranian Quds Force poses threat to U.S. homeland

National Counterterrorism Center Director Matthew G. Olsen testifies on homeland threats and ... more >

Iran’s extremist militias and their proxies were behind a recent string of terror attacks against Israeli diplomatic targets around the globe and might seek to strike the United States, U.S. counterterrorism officials said Wednesday.

“We have seen an uptick in operational activity by the Quds Force over the last year or so,” National Counter-Terrorism Center Director Matthew G. Olsen told a hearing of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

Mr. Olsen said the Quds Force, the elite division of the Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps responsible for operations abroad, “poses a threat beyond the immediate [Middle East] region,” including to the U.S. homeland.

He cited the federal prosecution last year of a senior member of the force for involvement in a failed plot to kill the Saudi ambassador to the U.S. by bombing a Washington restaurant.

Quds Force operatives had been involved in anti-Israeli attacks and plots as far afield as India and Georgia, he said.

The Quds Force and the Lebanese Shiite extremist militia Hezbollah, which the Iranians have used as a proxy for terror attacks in the past, are “a significant source of concern for us,” added Kevin L. Perkins, associate deputy director of the FBI.

Mr. Perkins said the bureau is focusing its analytical firepower on the issue. “It’s a serious problem, a serious threat,” he said.

Adding to concern about Hezbollah was a Times of London artilce Wednesday, based on an interview with a recently defected Syrian army leader. Maj. Gen. Adnan Sillu told the paper that the Syrian regime had plans to provide chemical weapons to Hezbollah for use in rocket attacks against Israel.

The regime now has “nothing to lose” in sharing the weapons, he added, “If a war starts between Hezbollah and Israel, it will be only good for Syria.”

You may have caught this, maybe not. Drudge has it linked and now it has the full video.

Obama as a candidate in 2007 using divisive racial rhetoric and called Jeremiah Wright out as his pastor and much more. The media largely passed on this speech and chose to print the prepared notes from his campaign. Obama went off the notes many times and delved into the race divide whipping up resentment.

Exclusive: In heated ’07 speech, Obama lavishes praise on Wright, says feds ‘don’t care’ about New Orleans [VIDEO]

    Published: 8:50 PM 10/02/2012

In a video obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller, then-presidential candidate Barack Obama tells an audience of black ministers, including the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, that the U.S. government shortchanged Hurricane Katrina victims because of racism.

“The people down in New Orleans they don’t care about as much!” Obama shouts in the video, which was shot in June of 2007 at Hampton University in Virginia. By contrast, survivors of Sept. 11 and Hurricane Andrew received generous amounts of aid, Obama explains. The reason? Unlike residents of majority-black New Orleans, the federal government considers those victims “part of the American family.”

The racially charged and at times angry speech undermines Obama’s carefully-crafted image as a leader eager to build bridges between ethnic groups. For nearly 40 minutes, using an accent he almost never adopts in public, Obama describes a racist, zero-sum society, in which the white majority profits by exploiting black America. The mostly black audience shouts in agreement. The effect is closer to an Al Sharpton rally than a conventional campaign event.

(Video embedded at linked page. http://dailycaller.com/2012/10/02/ob...ht-new-orleans )

Obama gave the speech in the middle of a hotly-contested presidential primary season, but his remarks escaped scrutiny. Reporters in the room seem to have missed or ignored his most controversial statements. The liberal blogger Andrew Sullivan linked to what he described as a “transcript” of the speech, which turned out not to be a transcript at all, but instead the prepared remarks provided by the campaign. In fact, Obama, who was not using a teleprompter, deviated from his script repeatedly and at length, ad libbing lines that he does not appear to have used before any other audience during his presidential run. A local newspaper posted a series of video clips of the speech, but left out key portions. No complete video of the Hampton speech was widely released.

Obama begins his address with “a special shout out” to Jeremiah Wright, the Chicago pastor who nearly derailed Obama’s campaign months later when his sermons attacking Israel and America and accusing the U.S. government of “inventing the HIV virus as a means of genocide against people of color” became public. To the audience at Hampton, Obama describes Wright as, “my pastor, the guy who puts up with me, counsels me, listens to my wife complain about me. He’s a friend and a great leader. Not just in Chicago, but all across the country.”

By the time Obama appeared at Hampton, Jeremiah Wright had become a political problem. Wright told The New York Times earlier that year that he would no longer be speaking on the campaign’s behalf because his rhetoric was considered too militant. And yet later in the Hampton speech Obama explicitly defends Wright from unnamed critics, a group he describes as “they”: “They had stories about Trinity United Church of Christ, because we talked about black people in church: ‘Oh, that might be a separatist church,’” Obama said mockingly.

The spine of Obama’s speech is a parable about a pregnant woman shot in the stomach during the 1992 Los Angeles riots. The baby is born with a bullet in her arm, which doctors successfully remove. That bullet, Obama explains, is a metaphor for the problems facing black America, namely racism. (At a similar speech he gave in April of 2007 at the First AME Church in Los Angeles to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the riots, according to a church member who was there, Obama described the slug as, “the bullet of slavery and Jim Crow.”)

At least 53 people were killed during the chaos in Los Angeles, many of them targeted by mobs because of their skin color. But Obama does not describe the riots as an expression of racism, but rather as the result of it. The burning and shooting and looting, he explains, amounted to “Los Angeles expressing a lingering, ongoing, pervasive legacy, a tragic legacy out of the tragic history of this country, a history this country has never fully come to terms with.”

And with that, Obama pivots to his central point: The Los Angeles riots and Hurricane Katrina have racism in common. “The federal response after Katrina was similar to the response we saw after the riots in LA,” he thunders from the podium. “People in Washington, they wake up, they’re surprised: ‘There’s poverty in our midst! Folks are frustrated! Black people angry!’ Then there’s gonna be some panels, and hearings, and there are commissions and there are reports, and then there’s some aid money, although we don’t always know where it’s going — it can’t seem to get to the people who need it — and nothin’ really changes, except the news coverage quiets down and Anderson Cooper is on to something else.”

It’s at about this point that Obama pauses, apparently agitated, and tells the crowd that he wants to give “one example because this really steams me up,” an example that he notes does not appear in his prepared remarks:

    LISTEN TO THE DIFFERENCE:

(Video embedded at this link page http://dailycaller.com/2012/10/02/ob...new-orleans/2/ )

“Down in New Orleans, where they still have not rebuilt twenty months later,” he begins, “there’s a law, federal law — when you get reconstruction money from the federal government — called the Stafford Act. And basically it says, when you get federal money, you gotta give a ten percent match. The local government’s gotta come up with ten percent. Every ten dollars the federal government comes up with, local government’s gotta give a dollar.”

“Now here’s the thing,” Obama continues, “when 9-11 happened in New York City, they waived the Stafford Act — said, ‘This is too serious a problem. We can’t expect New York City to rebuild on its own. Forget that dollar you gotta put in. Well, here’s ten dollars.’ And that was the right thing to do. When Hurricane Andrew struck in Florida, people said, ‘Look at this devastation. We don’t expect you to come up with y’own money, here. Here’s the money to rebuild. We’re not gonna wait for you to scratch it together — because you’re part of the American family.’”

That’s not, Obama says, what is happening in majority-black New Orleans. “What’s happening down in New Orleans? Where’s your dollar? Where’s your Stafford Act money?” Obama shouts, angry now. “Makes no sense! Tells me that somehow, the people down in New Orleans they don’t care about as much!”

It’s a remarkable moment, and not just for its resemblance to Kayne West’s famous claim that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people,” but also because of its basic dishonesty. By January of 2007, six months before Obama’s Hampton speech, the federal government had sent at least $110 billion to areas damaged by Katrina. Compare this to the mere $20 billion that the Bush administration pledged to New York City after Sept. 11.

Moreover, the federal government did at times waive the Stafford Act during its reconstruction efforts. On May 25, 2007, just weeks before the speech, the Bush administration sent an additional $6.9 billion to Katrina-effected areas with no strings attached.

As a sitting United States Senator, Obama must have been aware of this. And yet he spent 36 minutes at the pulpit telling a mostly black audience that the U.S. government doesn’t like them because they’re black.

As the speech continues, Obama makes repeated and all-but-explicit appeals to racial solidarity, referring to “our” people and “our neighborhoods,” as distinct from the white majority. At one point, he suggests that black people were excluded from rebuilding contracts after the storm: “We should have had our young people trained to rebuild the homes down in the Gulf. We don’t need Halliburton doing it. We can have the people who were displaced doing that work. Our God is big enough to do that.”

This theme — that black Americans suffer while others profit — is a national problem, Obama continues: “We need additional federal public transportation dollars flowing to the highest need communities. We don’t need to build more highways out in the suburbs,” where, the implication is, the rich white people live. Instead, Obama says, federal money should flow to “our neighborhoods”: “We should be investing in minority-owned businesses, in our neighborhoods, so people don’t have to travel from miles away.”

The solution, Obama says, is a series of new federal programs, including one to teach punctuality to the poor: “We can’t expect them to have all the skills they need to work. They may need help with basic skills, how to shop, how to show up for work on time, how to wear the right clothes, how to act appropriately in an office. We have to help them get there.”

    WATCH THE NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN FULL SPEECH:

(Video embedded at this linked page http://dailycaller.com/2012/10/02/ob...new-orleans/3/ )

In the prepared version distributed to reporters, Obama’s speech ends this way:

“America is going to survive. We won’t forget where we came from. We won’t forget what happened 19 months ago, 15 years ago, thousands of years ago.”

That’s not what he actually said. Before the audience at Hampton, Obama ends his speech this way:

“America will survive. Just like black folks will survive. We won’t forget where we came from. We won’t forget what happened 19 months ago, or 15 years ago, or 300 years ago.”

Three hundred years ago. It’s a reference the audience understood.
