Meg Lanker Simons hoax revealed as ‘sexual violence’ Facebook threat was posted by her

A University of Wyoming student activist targeted by an anonymous Facebook posting threatening sexual violence was posted by herself, police said.
The university in Laramie, Wyoming announced on Tuesday that campus police cited Meg Lanker-Simons for misdemeanor interference with a police investigation by giving false statements.
A Facebook post threatened Lanker-Simons occurred on a Facebook forum for UW students, leading to an outcry and an investigation by UW police because it was directed at a student. The post “blamed” Republicans and her husband had responded angrily.

The Facebook page, which is not officially affiliated with the university, was taken down and a student-led demonstration against sexual violence was organized.

UW police now say they found what they called ‘substantial evidence’ verifying that the post came from the computer belonging to Lanker-Simons.

This is especially disturbing as critics note the woman essentially responded to herself saying ” This is disgusting, mysoginistic…”

Lanker-Simons is a blogger and local radio show host who advocates for liberal causes.

In 2010, she filed a lawsuit against the university that forced UW to allow Bill Ayers on the campus for a speech on education.

The Facebook post came to light last week when people including Pamela Kandt, co-convener of the Episcopal Women’s Caucus and a Casper activist, complained to the university and demanded action.

Kandt came to Lanker-Simons’ defense Tuesday.

“I will tell you, I believe Meg is innocent of this outrage,” Kandt told the Laramie Boomerang, adding she believes the citation issued by police is a ‘classic case of blaming the victim.”

“I mean, my God, who would do this to herself?” she added.

BUSTED: Racist At Pro- Zimmerman Rally I.D.’d As Left-Wing Activist

July, 23, 2013 — nicedeb On Saturday, conservatives held a pro-Zimmerman rally to counter the New Black Panther “Justice for Trayvon” march in Houston. Breitbart’s Brandon Darby reported that the police did a good job keeping the two sides apart, but one person on the NBPP side did manage to mingle with the pro-Zimmerman side.

Seriously, AP/ New York Daily Newsyou found nothing suspicious about this woman?

Via Gateway Pundit, The Houston Chronicle identified her as Renee Vaughan:
One woman in the Zimmerman group held a sign that said, “We’re racist & proud.”

Austin resident Renee Vaughan echoed the sign’s ugly sentiments by yelling, “We’re racist. We’re proud. We’re better because we’re white,” at the Martin group as they passed, according to the Chronicle.
Because racists typically self identify that way – “We’re Racist and we’re proud! We’re better than you because we’re white!” Happens all the time.

Since you can’t expect reporters at the AP, NY Daily News or Houston Chronicle to actually have working B.S. detectors, these days, citizen journalists like Kristinn Taylor had to do the job of smoking out this left-wing moonbat infiltrator.

Scanning the internet we found that a “Renee Vaughn” from Austin worked for a far left environmental group, the Texas Campaign for the Environment.

Renee even has her photo linked to a far left environmental website.

There are also plenty of pictures of Renee at the Texas Campaign for the Environment Facebook page.
What do you know – here’s one of her wearing those awesome, pink cat-eye glasses!

    Yup, that’s her, alright.

Man, it takes a special kind of stupid to hold up a sign professing to be a racist, and then tell reporters your real name. But that appears to be what happened, here.
Spread this…Unfortunately, that fraudulent picture went viral worldwide. We can only correct the record by spreading the truth.

Killing America: It’s a Liberal Thing

    Posted on August 7, 2013

    Hat tip to The Orthosphere

As traditionalist conservatives, we understand that the current order, although it contains pockets of relative sanity, is, overall, hopelessly corrupt. Although we knew the chances were not good, many of us had been hoping that a renewal of American society could somehow be brought about. We knew that the old America—the predominantly white, Christian America of ordered liberty under God and the Constitution—was in some senses gone. But while the permanent loss of America was seen as possible, even likely, it was not foremost in our minds. We generally focused on what could be done to oppose liberalism.

That has changed. While the recent presidential election did not change anything fundamental (elections cannot do that), it did reveal that even a President who obviously hates and opposes the traditional American way of life can easily be reelected. It revealed that a president who is incompetent at doing what he should, and very competent at pursuing leftist-inspired destruction, can gain the votes of the majority. It revealed anew that in the new America the enemies of a decent order have all the advantages. Barring a miracle, we cannot see how it will be possible to revive a properly-ordered (or at least adequately-ordered) American nation from sea to shining sea.

This insight did not just come from the recent election. Nearly a year ago, for example, Lawrence Auster announced that he no longer believed it possible for America to reject liberalism, and that, in his words, “…liberalism will continue until it has destroyed our civilization, and liberalism itself, having been deprived of its host, will also perish…” This conclusion was not the result of any specific event, but was rather an intuitive insight based on cumulative data.

    What to Do?

It is a dreadful thing to contemplate the loss of one’s nation. An appropriate first response is mourning.

After mourning should come repentance. Part of repentance is to change our understanding of what must be done. Man naturally wants to preserve what is best about his nation, and conservatives, almost by definition, wish to defend their nation from internal (and external) enemies. It is natural for a conservative, traditionalist or otherwise, to view his task as preserving or renewing his nation.

But if this is no longer possible, what’s a conservative to do?

What’s the difference between a liberal and a conservative?

    Feelings.

Liberals base their belief system on feelings. Conservatives base theirs on logic.

On that basis, liberals should love today’s breaking news presented by NewsBusted’s Jodi Miller.

Ms. Miller’s side-splitting presentation of this week’s news evokes laughter. Humor is a feeling isn’t it? Therefore, liberal are going to love it.

You will, too. Here’s this week’s top, breaking news stories:
    √ Democrat’s successful voter outreach!
√ What U.S. and Venezuelan healthcare systems have in common.
√ Suddenly, Chevy Volt sales don’t look so bad! Here’s why.
√ Chinese invent astronaut robot. MSNBC already beat them to the punch!
√ Facebook glitch doesn’t deter the NSA.
√ Democrats applaud secret tunnel between the U.S. and Mexico!
√ Food stamp cuts force folks to make tough decisions.
    √ Bill Maher blasts Christians.
The weekend is here. Relax. Enjoy a few laughs at the expense of our liberal brothers and sisters. Enjoy the feeling!

    Take it away, Jodi Miller!

Obama administration to offer new rules on school discipline

**FILE** Education Secretary Arne Duncan is interviewed by the Associated Press in ...

Citing federal authority to protect students from discrimination, the Obama administration on Wednesday unveiled comprehensive new guidance on school discipline designed to end disparities in how white and minority students are punished by their districts.

The rules, issued jointly by the Department of Education and the Justice Department, mark a major step in the administration’s effort to fight the so-called “school-to-prison pipeline,” the result of minority students being suspended or kicked out of school at much higher rates than their white peers. Subsequently, minority students often end up in the criminal justice system as a result of schools’ unequal treatment, the administration said.

“Positive discipline policies can help create safer learning environments without relying heavily on suspensions and expulsions,” Education Secretary Arne Duncan said. “Schools also must understand their civil rights and obligations and avoid unfair disciplinary practices. We need to keep students in class where they can learn. These resources are a step in the right direction.”

The new rules, which cite authority under federal Titles IV and VI to protect students from discrimination based on race, consist of four main areas: a “dear colleague” letter for districts instructing them how to meet their legal obligations for administering discipline; a set of guiding principles to help state and local school officials better implement non-discriminatory disciplinary policies; a directory of “federal school climate and discipline resources”; and an online catalog of discipline laws and regulations already on the books.

In its guidance, the administration argues that it’s become too common for school officials — teachers, principals, superintendents or other personnel — to treat white and black students differently, for example, even if they commit the same offense.

“The departments [of Justice and Education] often receive complaints from parents that a teacher only refers students of a particular race outside of the classroom for discipline, even though students of other races in that classroom commit the same infractions,” the departments said. “Where this is true, there has been selective enforcement.”

Local districts, while not yet familiar with the specifics of the guidance, concede disparities in discipline remain a problem.

“There is disparity … the representation of African-American students who receive discretionary suspension is far greater than the overall percentage” of students, said Dana Tofig, spokesman for Montgomery County School District.

“Discretionary suspension,” Mr. Tofig said, refers to disciplinary action decided on by school officials on a case-by-case basis.
Some actions, such as bringing a weapon to school or being caught with drugs, result in mandatory suspensions or other discipline that does not differ from case to case, he said.

Advocacy groups applauded the new rules, though it remains to be seen how aggressive the administration will be when it comes to individual cases in individual districts across the country.

“All children deserve access to a quality education, but too often children of color are pushed out of the classroom through the overuse of harsh school disciplinary policies, despite federal law that protects them,” said Judith Browne Dianis, co-director of the Advancement Project, a civil-rights advocacy organization. “While the notion of a post-racial society is noble in theory, discrimination in school discipline is a major problem adversely impacting children and parents throughout the country.”

I suspect what will happen is that blacks won't get punished at all unless it's literally criminal offenses and even then, it will have to be very bad. Minor offenses will simply be ignored.

Feminist says she’ll “rip out” uterus of pro-life Congresswoman

Laura Levites (l); Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (r)
I’m posting this despite the fact that in so doing, I’m lending publicity to Laura Levites, an exhibitionist who relishes attention — any attention, including negative attention. But this evil woman typifies the murderous mind of the radical Left.
Laura Levites is a Jewish radical feminist with obviously dyed Medussa hair, who fancies herself a comedienne.
Cathy McMorris Rodgers is the lovely Congresswoman (R-Washington) who gave the GOP’s rebuttal to President Lucifer’s “I’m king” 2014 State of the Union address. She is a pro-life evangelical Christian and the mother of a 4-year-old son with Down Syndrome.
In a tweet about Rep. Rodgers — someone she doesn’t know and who had done her no harm — Levites calls Rodgers a “cunt” and threatens to “rip out” and “eat” Rodgers’ uterus.
Levites then follows that first murderous tweet with others wishing Rodgers’ death and insulting Jesus.
    WARNING: Graphic language

This is what the vile Left think of all pro-lifers. Nothing less than DEMONIC.

PROGS IN TEXAS: Texas School District Cancels Memorial Day Vacation

    By Clash Daily / / 2 Comments

There won’t be a Memorial Day vacation day in Leander, Texas—at least not one for the students in Leander’s schools.
The suburban Austin, Texas school district chose to make Memorial Day one of their “make-up” days for inclement weather closings. With two ice days this month, Leander Independent School District will now be holding classes on Memorial Day unless the school board takes action at their next regularly scheduled meeting.
One concerned parent is James Crabtree, now a reserve officer in the United States Marine Corps.
    Crabtree told Breitbart News:
My battalion lost ten good Marines when we were in Iraq. Memorial Day is the one day our nation has set aside to honor their memory and the memory of all who have given their lives in our armed forces. For the school board to choose to hold school on this day, rather than adding it to the end of the year or using three scheduled “staff development” days, is wrong and unpatriotic.
In an interview with Breitbart News, Leander ISD’s Executive Director for School and Community Relations, Veronica Sopher, said there was no disrespect intended to any veterans or families of veterans lost in combat.
“We are bound by state law and teachers’ contracts,” Sopher explained, “as to when the start of school will be and how many holidays can be scheduled. We have very little flexibility on when we can schedule make-up days for educational days that are lost because of weather.”

Obama to Sign Executive Order Banning LGBT Discrimination for Federal Contractors

    Associated Press

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama plans to sign an executive order banning federal contractors from discriminating against employees on the basis of their sexual orientation, a White House official said Monday.
The move follows years of pressure from gay rights groups for Obama to act on his own while a broader employment non-discrimination measure languishes on Capitol Hill. The Senate passed the legislation last year but the bill stalled in the Republican-led House and there is little sign that lawmakers will take it up in an election year.
    AP Photo/Pablo Martinez Monsivais

There is currently no federal law that explicitly bans workplace discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. While Obama does not have the authority to extend that protection to all Americans, he can take unilateral action that impacts federal contractors, which make up nearly one-quarter of the U.S. workforce.
Obama has used this tactic before, signing executive orders that raise the minimum wage for federal contractors and expanding the number of workers who would be eligible for overtime pay. White House officials have cast the approach as part of the president’s effort to work around a Congress that continues to be mired in gridlock.
But those moves increased the frustration among gay rights supporters who have long pressed Obama to extend workplace discrimination protections to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals working for federal contractors. The White House publicly offered little explanation as to why the president moved forward on the wage-related orders but not the anti-discrimination measure.
The official would not say when Obama planned to sign the order, only that the president had asked his staff to prepare a measure for his signature. The official insisted on anonymity, lacking authorization to discuss the president’s decision by name.
The official said the White House wanted to preview the president’s upcoming action because of the “intense interest” in the executive order.
The announcement comes one day before Obama travels to New York for the Democratic National Committee’s annual gay and lesbian fundraiser. LGBT donors have used previous fundraisers to press Obama on this issue.
Obama’s plan to sign the order was welcomed by gay rights groups. Rea Carey, the executive director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, called it a “major step forward.”
“Through his actions, the president has demonstrated again his commitment to ending discrimination,” Carey said.
