We should set up an online - betting thing here. We all start with say, 1000 points, and we bet points based on bets we want to make and then win or lose based on our bet. Those who lose their points lose some of their 1000 and those who win get some one else's points.

Thought so. Never know sometimes what people know!
Apparently, from the images I can see the people are remaining calm. If that is true, I don't think that the folks will riot - and at this point, if they don't "move along" there will be a massive amount of blood shed.
I suspect some of the military will just side with the people - but the cops, who knows?
And the military leaders will take their final orders from the top of the government, in this case Mubarak and Suleiman. The military will either step in and go against the government, or follow orders and go against the people.
I can't really foresee them doing either, and yet, they can't remain "neutral" when the protesters start breaking windows and burning things.

Oh, what a classic lame-ass autocrat move. Technically he steps down, for all practical purposes he hands off the reins to his second in command who will still take cue's from him.
Pretty sure the Egyptian people are headsmacking themselves at how stupid he must think they are to think this is anything even close to what they want.
Game on. We'll see continued protesting at increased levels.
