Being resigned to a non opiate night I have been reading various threads on TAA. I find it disturbing the similarities between the Barbary Wars and the world today.

The US was for the time deep in debt. Pirates were capturing US vessels and holding the crews and ships for ransom.

What I find really striking is the names of some of the ships President Jefferson sent to the Medditerrain.

USS Enterprise
USS Entripid
USS Philadelphia

I guess the more things change the more they stay the same.

As they say, History repeats itself.

This morning they announced that the pirates have stated clearly that "Any Americans found on the High Seas would be killed".

I am here to state that I don't give a DAMN what they say.

If I find any pirates on the high seas, they WILL BE KILLED.


I'm sorry, my fellow Americans are threatened. I personally will never allow a pirate to walk away now.
