I've been attacked by those little assholes, back in Oklahoma. Me and a buddy were attacked in the dark. I had about 50 bites and/or stings. I wasn't really affected except they hurt like HELL. I didn't get dead flesh from them.

On the other hand... they died by the millions that evening. lol

We dug into the nest and hosed them down with flaming liquids.

Of course, we MOVED to another area away from them when we were done murdering them. lol

Louisiana Man Accused Of Biting ''A Chunk Of The Victim's Face Off''

Police in Scott, Louisiana say a man bit part of the face off of another man.

"During the attack, the suspect bit a chunk of the victim's face off," Scott Assistant Police Chief Kert Thomas told KATC TV in Lafayette.

Cops tell the TV station that 43-year-old Carl Jacquneaux (above) "was clearly under the influence of some kind of drug."

KATC reports that a friend of the victim said she believes Jacquneaux was using bath salts, a drug police said can cause a state of excited delirium and dangerous behavior.

The victim is recovering.

The attack is similar to one on Florida last week in which police also suspect the attacker was taking bath salts before biting much of the face off another man.

I read some other article from Christian Science Monitor I think last night and they have about a dozen of these things listed in the last few weeks. At first I thought it was a parody article or a joke they way it started out but it was pretty serious as you read in.

I can't find it this morning for some reason (I found it on my Kindle and can't really post anything from that device.)

Lost co-creator and Prometheus screenwriter Damon Lindelof has been drafted in to salvage Brad Pitt’s zombie war movie ‘World War Z’ as director Marc Forster plans several weeks of reshoots

The troubled blockbuster, which Pitt is also producing, wrapped last year, but it appears movie executives are far from happy with the end product and they've pushed the film's release from December to next summer to allow for the extra work to be done.

Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Lindelof has also been hired to revamp the film's ending.

High on bath salts, New York woman says: I want to 'kill someone and eat them'

A synthetic drug known as "bath salts" is blamed for some bizarre behavior in central New York, including a woman's alleged attempt to bite the face of a police officer.

Police in Utica were called to a city bar Saturday night to check out a woman described as emotionally disturbed. When an officer approached her, she lunged at him and tried to bite his face. Police say she screamed that she wanted to "kill someone and eat them."

The woman was taken to a hospital for mental health evaluation.

Later, police were called to a home where a 20-year-old man was reported to have threatened to kill his mother and other family. Police found the man, Aubrey Vails, had ripped a door off its hinges and was punching a car in the driveway. He was charged with criminal mischief.

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Rudy Eugene, the Causeway Cannibal who ate the face off a homeless man he attacked along the MacArthur Causeway, was apparently not high on bath salts or any other exotic street drug at the time of the attack, according to a report released Wednesday by the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner.

The news leaves law enforcement officials wondering what drove Eugene to strip off his clothes, attack homeless man Ronald Poppo, and chew off pieces of flesh from Poppo’s face.



Speculation about the cause of Eugene’s rampage on Poppo’s face centered on drugs, specifically bath salts, after police union officials claimed an increase in bizarre behavior among people on the street using such drugs.

The much-anticipated toxicology report released by Miami-Dade Medical Examiner Dr. Bruce Hyma found marijuana in Eugene’s system, something CBS4 News had previously reported, but no evidence of any other street drugs, alcohol or prescription drugs, or any adulterants found in street drugs.

The report said this includes cocaine, LSD, amphetamines (Ecstasy, Meth and others), phencyclidine (PCP or Angel Dust), heroin, oxycodone, Xanax, synthetic marijuana (Spice), and many other similar compounds.

Hyma’s office specifically ruled out bath salts, a class of synthetic drugs that have been known to cause bizarre behavior and overheating of people who use them, two things that made some believe Eugene’s cannibalistic behavior could be blamed on the drugs.

“The department has also sought the assistance of an outside forensic toxicology reference laboratory, which has confirmed the absence of “bath salts,” synthetic marijuana and LSD,” the report said.

“Within the limits of current technology by both laboratories, marijuana is the only drug identified in the body of Mr. Rudy Eugene.”

The news from the medical examiner sends investigators back to square one as they look for what caused Eugene’s bizarre behavior.

A girlfriend and a friend who had seen Eugene hours before the attack said he had used marijuana, but had seen him use no other drug before traveling to the Urban Beach Weekend on Miami Beach the morning of the attack.

Eugene abandoned his car on the beach and walked back to Miami on the MacArthur Causeway, stripping off his clothes during the three-mile trip, and at one point he was spotted swinging from a lamp post.

Once on the Miami side of the causeway, he encountered Poppo where the MiamiMover crosses the causeway, in view of security cameras atop the Miami Herald building. Those cameras detailed how the naked cannibal attacked the much older Poppo, knocked him to the ground, and stripped him of his clothing.

Once overcome, Eugene chewed flesh from Poppo’s face, but a later autopsy report found he did not actually eat it.

A police officer was called to the scene by people who spotted the bizarre attack. He tried to intervene but was forced to shoot, killing Eugene and apparently striking the badly wounded Poppo.

Poppo, who was taken to Ryder Trauma Center, survived the attack but has no memory of it. His face was virtually destroyed but doctors say much of it can be repaired.

Eugene’s family and friends say they are clueless about why he attacked Poppo, claiming the former high school football player and car wash employee had never shown such violent tendencies. Many believed drugs were to blame, but with Wednesday’s report the search has begun for a new cause for one of South Florida’s most bizarre crimes.

So does anyone else have a guess on this guy then? No drugs. Nothing that would have caused it visible. Was he upset because it was hot, he had to shed his clothing and then got cold and had to take some from a bum who refused to give 'em up? So he TOOK them?

Maybe he just liked to bite people in the face?

He got stung by a bee and was having an allergic reaction that required "BRAAAINZZZZ" to fix his problem?

Maybe an alien invader entered his mind and commanded him to eat some guy's face, you know, for the EXPERIENCE?

In an autopsy don't they take out the brain, examine it, then put it back in anyway? If there are any more attacks by, oh, I don't know, say the coroners assistants... maybe they ought to reexamine this?

So, between the time he saw a girlfriend and a friend just hours before and the time he was observed naked, swinging from a lamp post (I'm still having trouble not laughing out loud at this situation) - something made him go off his rocker?

He's never had a violent tendency before, according to friends (neither did Trayvon Martin, so I hear)

And now they don't have a convienient "drug" to blame this behavior on, which resulted in the death of one and the disastrous "face eating" of another.

My only experience in this was a guy once hollered out, "I'll eat your face!" to another guy. I didn't the yeller seriously at the time. I don't know what happened after I walked away though! (LOL!)

I wonder what effect mad cow or any other brain altering disease might have on a person's behavior? It's got to be something anomalous. Of this we can be certain.

If humans eat diseased tissue from cattle, they may develop the human form of mad cow disease known as variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (vCJD) or new variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (nvCJD). The disease was named after the researchers who first identified the classic condition. Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease in its classic form usually occurs in older people through an inherited tendency of the brain to change or the disease occurs spontaneously for no apparent reason. The type identified as occurring from eating diseased cattle occurs in younger people and has atypical clinical features, with prominent psychiatric or sensory symptoms at the time of clinical presentation and delayed onset of neurologic abnormalities. These neurologic abnormalities include ataxia within weeks or months, dementia (loss of memory and confusion) and myoclonus late in the illness, a duration of illness of at least six months, and a diffusely abnormal nondiagnostic electroencephalogram.

The first symptom of CJD is rapidly progressive dementia, leading to memory loss, personality changes and hallucinations. In the final stage of the disease, the patient loses all mental and physical functions, lapses into a coma, and eventually dies. The course of the disease usually takes one year. The disease generally affects people between the ages of 50 to 75 years. Variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease is called "variant" because it has affected people at a younger age, even teenagers (the ages have ranged from 18 to 53 years old).

We need Doctor House to do a post-mortem diagnosis... see if there really is a zombie virus in the making. It's possible it's under development and these occurrences are test runs in progress.
