This is only loosely topic related as the 'article' references the Illuminati like so many places, where a tin foil hat is needed to believe. Still, if read as satire it makes for entertainment.

Peterle, I have to point out that this was a music video and certainly those symbols are in the video ON PURPOSE. Not by accident.

I understand it is in the Skeptic's Corner. My point is thus; why are there conspiracies out there? Answer: to put doubt into people's minds about various things.

The whole 9-11 Conspiracy theory revolved around "How the US Government" orchestrated the whole thing - when in fact they did not, but it was to PUT DOUBT in people's minds about the government.

There was a "Conspiracy theory" about Illuminati. Still is, really. Why? To put DOUBT into the minds of the people about whether there is a "Shadow Government" that exists out there and is what is really running the world through various puppet governments.

So... almost NO Conspiracy theory has anything in truth in it (and if there are truths they are taken out of context at best).

When a rock group does a music video - someone is behind the video, choses the images to go with the song and they are TRYING to make you see things that most people wouldn't believe anyway - just enough to get you to "think".

So as a music video, it's not a very good example of a "conspiracy" proof... skeptical or not. lol

I can agree that Conspiracy groups are built mainly by the fervor of people who are curious, but too easily duped. This in turn gives power to said group.
