    Default Kerbal Space Program

Don't know if any of you have seen this before but I figured it might be of interest since we've got plenty of space nerds here.

It's a free download. Pretty cool way to waste some time.

If you want to download more parts go here.

The first one I built I decided to take the Soviet approach to rocketry (more/bigger rocket motors) and ended up with typical Soviet results (they all died glorious heroes!). I'm going to download more parts and screw around with it some more when/if I have time.

There are apparently tutorial videos on YouTube which can help you construct quality rockets (pshhh, what fun would that be!) and achieve orbit. I haven't gone looking for them though.

    Enjoy!

I went through and installed a ton of the available add-on parts available including nuclear engines, an ion engine, and even warp nacelles!

If anyone wants I'll zip up the parts folder I've got and you can copy it to your directory so you don't have to do any hard work.

I think I'm going to change careers! Guided missile engineering, here I come!

    /chuckles

Have to check this out when I get home.

I've been looking for good space games.

It is pretty entertaining. The "real time" pictures of your three astronauts you see in the bottom corner during your launch are hilarious.

    haha.

Shoot, not gonna have time today.

I promised to take the wife sailing Saturday. I have more bearings to pack tonight on the trailer. /sigh. I probably won't see a computer again until sunday night.

    Oh well
