This could be the first of several hits from a series of CMEs expected to reach Earth during the weekend. High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras after nightfall. Messes up HF communications mostly. Makes it harder to communicate, but also makes for some interesting and weird contacts.

It COULD foul up satellites though, which would take down some global stuff.

I'm to the point of just "Wait and See" these days.

30 mbs. I am not envious. I recall recently workin w/ windows 95, 14 kbs every few seconds.

Here's what I pay for & what I get- 256kb. Most of the time I have a clear connection. I can watch utube, news w/ a wait and jerk.

Inet is still amazin to me.

Sam, I only posted the speedtest result as one can do so. Wasn't competing. 30 is not the fastest anyway. There are speeds in the Ukraine that are stellar.
