President Obama signaled Congress this week that he is prepared to share U.S. missile defense secrets with Russia.

In the president’s signing statement issued Saturday in passing into law the fiscal 2012 defense authorization bill, Mr. Obama said restrictions aimed at protecting top-secret technical data on U.S. Standard Missile-3 velocity burnout parameters might impinge on his constitutional foreign policy authority.

As first disclosed in this space several weeks ago, U.S. officials are planning to provide Moscow with the SM-3 data, despite reservations from security officials who say that doing so could compromise the effectiveness of the system by allowing Russian weapons technicians to counter the missile. The weapons are considered some of the most effective high-speed interceptors in the U.S. missile defense arsenal.

There are also concerns that Russia could share the secret data with China and rogue states such as Iran and North Korea to help their missile programs defeat U.S. missile defenses.

Despite giving away nuclear secrets and implementing a policy of appeasement, the Russians announced in November that they will deploy new missiles aimed at U.S. missile defense sites.

But that didn’t divert President Obama from his mission of appeasement.

If you do a little research, you find all these communist vermin are linked through various front organizations, foundations, and so forth. Obama's mom worked for Geitner's daddy in some commie group, financed by the US taxpayer. Jarrett, now that's a piece of work for sure! I'm wondering what Constitution he might be referring to. The President doesn't have sole authority for making "foreign policy". The President does, under Article II, Sec. 2, have authority to make treaties upon the advice and consent of the Senate provided that 2/3rds (not just a simple majority) of the Senators voting concur. It is a shared authority. Other than that there's not a single mention of "making foreign policy" as an enumerated Presidential power.

On the other hand, Article I, Sec. 8 empowers the Congress to regulate foreign commerce. Congress might be on (damned) firm ground denying in law the sale or gifting of certain "intellectual property" owned by the US to a foreign state as a matter of regulating foreign commerce (gee - I think that protection of intellectual property is also covered in Article I, Sec. 8 as an enumerated power of Congress). The President, in Article II, Sec. 3, is charged to "take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed."

There’s no telling how many times during the campaign Hillary Clinton has brought up America’s nuclear codes, and how important it is that someone who’s riled by a tweet never be allowed anywhere near them.

She also repeated on #DebateNight the established Democrat talking point that the contents of the documents posted by WikiLeaks aren’t nearly as important as the fact that Russia is hacking our servers — a threat so severe that she decided to set up her own private email server in her house.

It’s fine, though: she assured the public that just because she didn’t know what the (C) on her emails indicated, it didn’t matter as she treated everything as if it were at the highest level of classification … well, just about everything.
