    Watching radar atm.... I'm seeing a big hook echo directly south of Dallas... this is showing the last snapshot at 2:03 local time there. It's 2:11 now. I would think this is moved NE already. Looks like about a 20 mph track.

    Wind speeds are approaching 50 knots (and I'm looking at storm relative, so I'm seeing 50 knots in both directions, major, major rotation!)

    Planes don't circle much any more. It used to be almost every flight, now it's almost never. They essentially reserve a landing before you take off and if you get into the air and they think that your slot will be closed, they divert you hundreds of miles before you get into the airspace.

    If you need a good interactive weather radar, check out tornadovideos.net. That's the site run by Reed Timmer. You can also watch streaming video from storm chasers in the field.
