'The War on Terror Is Over'

In the wake of the Arab Spring, the Obama administration is grappling with how to handle Islamists, radical adherents to Islam.

Particularly, the issue has come to the fore in regards to Egypt, which, as Reuel Marc Gerecht notes, "is now certain" to elect "an Islamist" as its leaders the next time the Egyptian people go to the polls.

But some in the Obama administration are now seeing things differently.

"The war on terror is over," a senior official in the State Department official tells the National Journal. "Now that we have killed most of al Qaida, now that people have come to see legitimate means of expression, people who once might have gone into al Qaida see an opportunity for a legitimate Islamism."

This new outlook has, in the words of the National Journal, come from a belief among administration officials that "It is no longer the case, in other words, that every Islamist is seen as a potential accessory to terrorists."
    The National Journal explains:
The new approach is made possible by the double impact of the Arab Spring, which supplies a new means of empowerment to young Arabs other than violent jihad, and Obama's savagely successful military drone campaign against the worst of the violent jihadists, al Qaida.
For the president himself, this new thinking comes from a "realiz[ation that] he has no choice but to cultivate the Muslim Brotherhood and other relatively 'moderate' Islamist groups emerging as lead political players out of the Arab Spring in Egypt, Tunisia and elsewhere."

This new outlook is radically different than what was expressed under President George W. Bush immediately after September 11, 2001. "Over time it's going to be important for nations to know they will be held accountable for inactivity," Bush said on November 6, 2001. "You're either with us or against us in the fight against terror."

For President Barack Obama, it would seem, one can be both with us and against us--or not with us, but not quite against us.

    What? Are they high?

I think it hasn't even begun. Maybe that's the point. Islamic terrorists are Obama's own people. Perhaps he's formally discontinued all action against them in accordance with whatever clandestine agreements they might have.

No one wants to war on their sympathizers, hence, game off.

    No kidding...

But on the flip side the Obama Administration has scheduled training for the Russian Airborne Assault Forces to handle US Special Service Weapons just down the road at Fort Carson.
The drills include parachuting, operation planning, reconnaissance, assault operations and evacuations by helicopter.

“According to the exercise scenario, soldiers of the two countries will hold a tactical airborne operation, including reconnaissance of an imaginary terrorists' camp and a raid,”
Colonel Kucherenko revealed.training for terror camp raid drills.
    Who are the terrorists now?

Oh, and the Russians just released a new weapon to suppress protesters today.

Pentagon Halts Class Teaching Anti-Islam Material

    By PAULINE JELINEK Associated Press
    WASHINGTON April 25, 2012 (AP)

The Pentagon has suspended a course for military officers that officials say contained inflammatory material about Islam.

Defense Department spokesman Capt. John Kirby said Wednesday that among problems with the course taught at Norfolk, Va., was a presentation that asserted the United States is at war with Islam. Kirby noted that officials across two American administrations have stressed that the U.S. is at war with terrorists who have a distorted view of the religion.

Kirby declined to detail what he said were other problems with the course, called "Perspectives on Islam and Islamic Radicalism."

Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has ordered all service branches to review their training to ensure other courses don't use anti-Islamic material.

Russia kills 49 jihadists, captures 30 others

Russia kills 49 Islamist militants in North Caucasus "The Telegraph"

Russian security forces have killed 49 Islamist militants and captured 30 others in a series of coordinated raids in the strife-ridden North Caucasus region, the country's top anti-terrorism agency claimed on Sunday.

Russian security forces have been fighting Muslim gunmen in the region more than a decade ago Photo: AP

At least nine leaders of the insurgency – which is being waged across the region in an attempt to set up an Islamic caliphate – were said to have been killed and a bomb-making factory was discovered.

The National Anti-terrorism Committee (NAK) did not say over what period the raids were carried out in a statement released to Russian news agencies.

"A series of coordinated measures allowed for the suppression of the activity of a number of odious leaders, members of bandit groups and accomplices and allowed for a significant disruption of the bandits' supply system," the statement said.

If the figures are true, they are a reminder of the ongoing vitality of the insurgency on Russia's southern perimeter, which grew out of separatists' battles for the independence of Chechnya in the 1990s and early 2000s.

NAK said that among other strikes it had "neutralised" four leaders of the insurgency in the Russian republic of Kabardino-Balkariya who were allegedly responsible for killing a judge, two Federal Security Service operatives and numerous policemen.

More than 90 insurgent camps or bases were destroyed and 26 arms caches were discovered across the North Caucasus, the agency claimed.

Thirty improvised explosive devices, 100kg of explosives, 109 weapons, 530 mines, shells and grenades and 19,000 units of ammunition were confiscated.

Russian security forces have been fighting Muslim gunmen in the region since full scale-scale battles between the army and separatists ceased more than a decade ago. The insurgents are thought to number less than a 1,000 men but have launched devastating terrorist attacks on the Russian heartland.

In 2010, two "Black Widow" suicide bombers from Dagestan killed 40 people in twin attacks on the Moscow metro. Another 37 people died when a bomber from Ingushetia struck the city's Domodedovo airport last year.

No longer on the run? Intel chief Clapper says Al Qaeda no less a threat than a decade ago

    FoxNews.com

Jan. 29, 2014: Director of National Intelligence James Clapper testifies on Capitol Hill in Washington.AP

A little more than a year after President Obama confidently declared on the campaign trail that Al Qaeda was on the run, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper testified Wednesday that he can't say the threat from the terror network "is any less" than it was a decade ago.

Further, he said Al Qaeda probably poses an even bigger challenge today -- because its franchises are "much more globally dispersed" and the organization recently has benefited from the massive leak of U.S. intelligence information.

Clapper made the blunt statements during the annual worldwide threat hearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Wednesday. He described how Al Qaeda has evolved over the years, with several franchises now operating across a dozen countries.

Compounding those concerns, top intelligence officials made clear, is last year's massive leak by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden of details on American surveillance activities. Clapper said this has caused "profound damage," and terrorists are "going to school" on U.S. surveillance methods.

Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, added that the leaks have caused "grave damage to our national security."

Top intelligence officials aired myriad concerns about emerging threats around the globe. The hearing follows a series of troubling developments abroad, including the Benghazi terror attack in 2012, and resurgence of Al Qaeda affiliates in Iraq and Syria amid ongoing fighting there. Clapper even said that one Syrian group, the al-Nusra Front, aspires to strike the U.S.
While Obama frequently touted gains made against Al Qaeda during the 2012 campaign -- and particularly the takedown of Usama bin Laden -- he acknowledged in his State of the Union address the threats still posed by Al Qaeda.

"The fact is that danger remains. While we put Al Qaeda's core leadership on a path to defeat, the threat has evolved as Al Qaeda affiliates and other extremists take root in different parts of the world," he said. "In Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, Mali, we have to keep working with partners to disrupt and disable those networks."

Terrorist actions a huge concern: intelligence chief James Clapper. Photo: AFP

Al-Qaeda-linked groups enticing dozens of Australians to join the bloody conflict in Syria have begun setting up camps to train foreign fighters to launch terrorist attacks when they return home.

The alarming change in operational focus, revealed by US intelligence chief James Clapper, comes as Australia's counterterrorism ambassador, Bill Fisher, said the threat of an attack on a bar, mall or another ''soft'' target frequented by Westerners had ''worsened'' in recent times.

Intelligence and law enforcement agencies have been grappling with a surprising resurgence of al-Qaeda over the past year, as its affiliates capture major cities in western Iraq and assume control of the military resistance in Syria.

As many as 200 Australians are believed to have travelled to Syria to help rebels trying to topple dictator Bashar al-Assad. Of those, a ''few dozen'' are actively engaged in combat, although authorities don't know exactly how many.

Mr Clapper says US intelligence has evidence of "training complexes" in Syria "to train people to go back to their countries and conduct terrorist acts''.

Mr Clapper, who is US director of national intelligence, named Jabhat al Nusra as one group with ''aspirations for attacks on the homeland''. He strongly suggested it wasn't the only one, but declined to provide any more detail on the camps.

About half of Australians fighting in Syria are believed to be members of Jabhat al Nusra. Others have joined Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), an even more militant Islamist group with strong ties to al-Qaeda.

US and Australian intelligence agencies have long worried about their citizens returning battle-hardened from Syria, with the combat skills and virulent anti-Western ideology that might enable them to launch a terrorist act.

''This is a huge concern," Mr Clapper said. He did not believe the danger of a terrorist attack was ''any less'' than what it was a decade ago.

    Generals conclude Obama backed al-Qaida

Probe of military experts finds U.S. 'switched sides' in terror war

Published: 11 hours ago Jerome R. Corsi Jerome R. Corsi, a Harvard Ph.D., is a WND senior staff reporter.

NEW YORK – The Obama White House and the State Department under the management of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “changed sides in the war on terror” in 2011 by implementing a policy of facilitating the delivery of weapons to the al-Qaida-dominated rebel militias in Libya attempting to oust Moammar Gadhafi from power, the Citizens Commission on Benghazi concluded in its interim report. In WND interviews, several members of the commission have disclosed their finding that the mission of Christopher Stevens, prior to the fall of Gadhafi and during Stevens’ time as U.S. ambassador, was the management of a secret gun-running program operated out of the Benghazi compound.

The Obama administration’s gun-running project in Libya, much like the “fast and furious” program under Eric Holder’s Justice Department, operated without seeking or obtaining authorization by Congress.

WND reported Monday that in exclusive interviews conducted with 11 of the 17 members of the commission, it is clear that while the CCB is still enthusiastic to work with Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, and hopeful that Boehner is serious about the investigation, various members of the CCB, speaking on their own behalf and not as spokesmen for the commission, are expressing concerns, wanting to make sure the Gowdy investigation is not compromised by elements within the GOP.

The Citizen’s Commission on Benghazi’s interim report, in a paragraph titled “Changing sides in the War on Terror,” alleges “the U.S. was fully aware of and facilitating the delivery of weapons to the Al Qaeda-dominated rebel militias throughout the 2011 rebellion.”

The report asserted the jihadist agenda of AQIM, the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group and other Islamic terror groups represented among the rebel forces was well known to U.S. officials responsible for Libya policy.

“The rebels made no secret of their Al Qaeda affiliation, openly flying and speaking in front of the black flag of Islamic jihad, according to author John Rosenthal and multiple media reports,” the interim report said. “And yet, the White House and senior Congressional members deliberately and knowingly pursued a policy that provided material support to terrorist organizations in order to topple a ruler who had been working closely with the West actively to suppress Al Qaeda.”

The report concluded: “The result in Libya, across much of North Africa, and beyond has been utter chaos, disruption of Libya’s oil industry, the spread of dangerous weapons (including surface-to-air missiles), and the empowerment of jihadist organizations like Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood.”
    Christopher Stevens: ’1st U.S. envoy to al-Qaida’

In the WND interviews, several members of the citizens’ commission, speaking for themselves, not for the commission, added important background to the interim report’s conclusion.

“In early 2011, before Gadhafi was deposed, Christopher Stevens came to Benghazi in a cargo ship, and his title at the time was envoy to the Libyan rebels,’ which basically means Christopher Stevens was America’s very first envoy to al-Qaida,” explained Clare Lopez, a member of the commission who served as a career operations officer with the CIA and current is vice president for research at the Washington-based Center for Security Policy.

“At that time, Stevens was facilitating the delivery of weapons to the al-Qaida-related militia in Libya,” Lopez continued. “The weapons were produced at factories in Eastern Europe and shipped to a logistics hub in Qatar. The weapons were financed by the UAE and delivered via Qatar mostly on ships, with some possibly on airplanes, for delivery to Benghazi. The weapons were small arms, including Kalashnikovs, rocket-propelled grenades and lots of ammunition.”

Lopez further explained that during the period of time when Stevens was facilitating the delivery of weapons to the al-Qaida-affiliated militia in Libya, he was living in the facility that was later designated the Special Mission Compound in Benghazi.

“This was about weapons going into Libya, and Stevens is coordinating with Abdelhakim Belhadj, the leader of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, other al-Qaida-affiliated militia leaders and leaders of the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood that directed the rebellion against Qadhafi as an offshoot of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood,” Lopez said. “Many of the individual members of the al-Qaida-related militias, including the LIFG, and the groups that would later become Ansar Al-Sharia, were Muslim Brotherhood members first.”

According to the interim report, as detailed by Lopez, a delegation from the UAE traveled to Libya after the fall of Gadhafi to collect payment for the weapons the UAE had financed and that Qatar had delivered to the TNC during the war.

“The UAE delegation was seeking $1 billion it claimed was owed,” the interim report noted. “During their visit to Tripoli, the UAE officials discovered that half of the $1 billion worth of weapons it had financed for the rebels had, in fact, been diverted by Mustafa Abdul Jalil, the Muslim Brotherhood head of the Libyan TNC, and sold to Qaddafi.”

According to information discovered during the UAE visit to Tripoli, when Jalil learned that Maj. Gen. Abdel Fatah Younis, Gadhafi’s former minister of the interior before his late February 2011 defection to the rebel forces, had found out about the weapons diversion and the $500 million payment from Gadhafi, Jalil ordered Abu Salim Abu Khattala, leader of the Abu Obeida Bin al-Jarrah brigade to kill Younis.

“Abu Khattala, later identified as a Ansar al- Shariah commander who participated in the 11 September 2012 attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, accepted the orders and directed the killing of Gen. Younis in July 2011,” the interim report noted.

Abu Khattala is currently in custody in New York awaiting trial under a Department of Justice-sealed indictment, after U.S. Delta Force special operations personnel captured him over the weekend of June 14-15, 2014, in a covert mission in Libya. Abu Khattala’s brigade merged into Ansar al-Shariah in 2012, and he was positively identified to the FBI in a cell phone photo from the scene of the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi.

The language of the interim report made clear why the sequence of events is important.

“The key significance of this episode is the demonstration of a military chain-of-command relationship between the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood leadership of the TNC and the Al Qaeda-affiliated militia (Ansar al-Shariah) that has been named responsible for the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi,” the interim Rreport concluded.

“What we have here is the Muslim Brotherhood leadership of the revolution giving a kill order to a Muslim militia affiliated with al-Qaida, which then carried it out,” Lopez summarized. “This chain-of-command link is important even though it has not yet received enough attention in the media.

    A big ‘oh no’ moment

“After Gadhafi is deposed and Stevens was appointed U.S. ambassador to Libya, the flow of weapons reverses,” Lopez noted. “Now Stevens has the job of overseeing the shipment of arms from Libya to Syria to arm the rebels fighting Assad, some of whom ultimately become al-Nusra in Syria and some become ISIS.”

Lopez distinguished that “al-Nusra in Syria still claims allegiance to al-Qaida, while ISIS has broken away from al-Qaida, not because ISIS is too violent, but out of insubordination, after Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS, wanted to run his own show inside Syria as well as Iraq, thereby disobeying orders from al-Qaida leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri.”

She noted that in this period of time, after the fall of Gadhafi and before the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the Benghazi compound, Stevens was working with Turkey to ship weapons out of Libya into Syria for the use of the rebels fighting Assad.

According to the authors of the bestselling book “13 Hours,” on Sept. 11, 2012, before the attack on the Benghazi compound started, Stevens had dinner with Turkish Consul General Ali Sait Akin. Stevens reportedly escorted the Turkish diplomat outside the main gate of the Benghazi compound to say good-bye to Akin at approximately 7:40 p.m. local time, before he returned to Villa C to retire for the evening.

Kevin Shipp, a former CIA counterintelligence expert who worked on the seventh floor at Langley as protective staff to then-CIA Director William Casey, again speaking for himself in his interview with WND, agreed with Lopez that the gun-running operation Stevens managed is a secret the Obama White House and Clinton State Department have sought to suppress from the public.

“The shocking part, maybe even a violation of international law that the Obama administration has been terrified to have fully revealed, is that Stevens as part of his duties as a State Department employee was assisting in the shipment of arms first into Libya for the al-Qaida-affiliated militia, with the weapons shipped subsequently out of Libya into Syria for use by the al-Qaida-affiliated rebels fighting Assad,” Shipp told WND.

“Very possibly, these gun-running activities could be looked at even as treasonable offenses,” he said.

Shipp further noted that in gun-running operations in which the CIA wants deniability, the CIA generally involves a third party.

“The way the CIA works is through a ‘cut-out,’ in that you get Qatar to transport the weapons and you facilitate the transport. So now the third party is to blame,” he explained.

“Qatar probably would have been able to pull this off without any attribution to the CIA if the Benghazi attack had not happened. The attack basically shed the light on this operation the White House, the State Department and the CIA were trying to keep quiet,” he said.

“The attack on Benghazi was a big ‘oh no’ moment.”

After Paris, Obama Sends ISIS Reinforcements by Freeing 5 Al Qaeda Terrorists from Guantanamo Bay

    How thoughtful of Barack.

ISIS has lost a few of its people in that Paris massacre.

So Obama just sent off some Al Qaeda reinforcements from Guantanamo Bay.

Five men who have been held for more than 13 years at the U.S. base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, have been released and sent to the United Arab Emirates, the Pentagon said Sunday.

The five Yemeni men were accepted for resettlement in the Persian Gulf nation after U.S. authorities determined they no longer posed a threat, the Defense Department said in a statement. Their release brings the Guantanamo prison population to 107.

The released men, who arrived in the UAE on Saturday, were identified as Ali Ahmad Muhammad al-Razihi, Khalid Abd-al-Jabbar Muhammad Uthman al-Qadasi, Adil Said al-Hajj Ubayd al-Busays, Sulayman Awad Bin Uqayl al-Nahdi, and Fahmi Salem Said al-Asani.

"Men" is a euphemism for Al Qaeda terrorists. That's who these fine folks Obama freed are.

Ali Ahmad Muhammad al-Razihi was an Osama bin Laden bodyguard. There was a good deal of pushback to releasing him, but Barack Hussein Obama got his way. Again.

BHO has released a number of OBL's bodyguards already. Al-Razihi is listed as "high risk", but ISIS needs a few good "high risk" men.

Obama on fighting Islamic State: “I’m not interested in…America winning”

November 16, 2015 8:14 pm By Robert Spencer 3 Comments

Obama said: “What I’m not interested in doing is posing or pursuing some notion of American leadership or America winning or whatever other slogans they come up with that has no relationship to what is actually gonna work to protect the American people and to protect people in the region.”

Limbaugh points out just what is wrong and odd about this: “America winning has no relationship to protecting the American people?” Indeed, how can that be?

“Limbaugh: Obama not interested in winning against ISIS,” by Joe Kovacs, WND, November 16, 2015:
In the wake of the Paris terror attacks last week, radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh says President Obama has no interest in winning against the Islamic terror group ISIS.

At a news conference Monday, Obama was asked if his “reluctance to enter another Middle East war and [his] preference of diplomacy over using the military makes the U.S. weaker and emboldens our enemies.”

Obama responded: “Some of [my critics] seem to think that if I were just more bellicose in expressing what we’re doing, that that would make a difference, because that seems to be the only thing that they’re doing is talking as if they’re tough. Folks want to pop off and have opinions about what they think they would do, present a specific plan. What I’m not interested in doing is posing or pursuing some notion of American leadership or America winning or whatever other slogans they come up with that has no relationship to what is actually gonna work to protect the American people and to protect people in the region.”

What do YOU think? Can America survive another year of Obama? Sound off in today’s WND poll

That comment set Limbaugh off, who asked, “Did I just hear what I just heard?”

“If America winning doesn’t have any relationship to what’s gonna work, then what the hell are we working on? What’s the point?”

“He really makes the case here,” Limbaugh continued, “that this is bitter clinger rabble-rousing. It’s just insignificant. This idea of America winning, it’s so backwards. We intellectuals are so far beyond the concept of America winning. That’s not what this is about. We’re not in this to win. That’s not why we’re doing what we’re doing. That’s his point of view here. American leadership, America winning, other slogans we can come up with. I’m not interested in that. That has no relationship to what’s actually gonna work to protect the American people. America winning has no relationship to protecting the American people?

“This is arrogant condescension and the whole idea here about winning and victory, intellectuals, in their world, that is blue-collar stuff, that’s hayseed, hick stuff, talking about winning and this and that. The intellectuals know there is no winning. There’s just containment. There’s appeasement, there’s cooperation, coalition. Winning? Come on, don’t waste my time. We’re so beyond winning. In his vaunted world of superior intelligence and being, winning is such a passe thing. Leadership, it’s so irrelevant to the real world today. But he wasn’t finished. He then lectured everybody on how we have to accept Muslims as well as Christians or we’re all just a bunch of bigots.”

Limbaugh said Americans citizens are truly concerned about attacks within our borders now, especially in the wake of what happened in Paris as well as the ongoing influx of Muslim “refugees” from Syria into the United States. He says government officials, including the president, want Americans to deny reality.

“They’re asking us to not believe exactly what we see,” he explained. “They’re asking us to deny common sense. They’re asking us to deny what’s rational. They want us to believe them. ‘Ah, it’s workplace violence.’ Really? Allahu Akbar. It happens every day.”…

    President Obama is AWOL

    November 16, 2015
    By Ray Starmann

As Paris burns, Obama teeters on the edge of reality. As Paris burns, Obama worries about sea levels in the Seychelles. As Paris burns, Obama calls Friday’s attacks, ‘a setback.’

A setback, Mr. President? One-hundred and twenty-nine people are dead, 350 plus are wounded and you call it a setback. What happened in Paris is a declaration of war on all of us.

Only hours before the Paris attacks began, Obama told the press that “ISIS was contained.” Contained like what, nitro-glycerin?

President Obama is AWOL (absent without leave) and has abandoned his duties as President, his post as Commander in Chief, his chair as the leader of the free world.

He is nothing more than a delusional weakling who is sleep-walking through the White House, while ISIS murders its way across the planet.

Today, in Turkey, Obama got testy with reporters. Delusional and arrogant, President Obama can’t admit that his so-called strategy is no strategy.

“The equation has clearly changed. Isn’t it time for your strategy to change?” a French reporter asked.

“Well, keep in mind what we have been doing,” Obama said. “We have a military strategy that involves putting enormous pressure on ISIS through airstrikes, that has put assistance and training on the ground with Iraqi forces. We’re now working with Syrian forces as well to squeeze ISIS.”

Enormous pressure? Obama continued ticking off actions the US had taken.

“We’ve been coordinating internationally to reduce their financing capabilities, the oil that they’re trying to ship outside. We are taking strikes against high-value targets,” he said.

“As I said from the start, it’s going to take time. What’s been interesting in the aftermath of Paris, as I listen to those who suggest ‘something else needs to be done,’ typically the things they suggest need to be done are things we are already doing,” he said.

Jim Acosta, a CNN reporter, summed up what he termed the “frustration” of many Americans when he colorfully asked, “Why can’t we take out the bastards?”

Exactly… not only Americans, but millions of people across the world are thinking the same thing as Jim Acosta.

Obama should be saying one thing to ISIS, “Romeo Foxtrot, shall we dance…” Instead he’s calling for strategic patience. Good God.

Today, he said that ISIS doesn’t represent Islam. What do they represent, the Rotary Club? They’re not Baptists, Jews, Catholics, Episcopalians, Hindus or Buddhists. They’re radical Muslims and they’re murderers. More importantly, they’re our enemy. They’re the enemy of humanity.

The French have begun to conduct airstrikes against ISIS targets in Raqqa, which were provided by the US. The question is; why weren’t we hitting those targets? Answer: the daisies in the Obama White House are terrified of collateral damage. By trying to avoid any collateral damage to save a handful of lives, Obama has condemned millions of people to torture, rape, execution and refugee status.

Meanwhile, only 72 hours after the Paris attacks, the Great Community Organizer is pushing hard for the arrival of 100,000 Syrian refugees. These people cannot be vetted and there must certainly be members of ISIS posing as poor, downtrodden migrants waiting for Barry Obama to save them. I’m calling that plan Operation Imminent Cluster. Obama is endangering all of us by this reckless foolishness.

We are in a clash of civilizations where there is no substitute for victory. Europe is waiting for America to lead, to invoke the age old motto of the Infantry, “follow me.” The free world is facing its greatest threat to its existence since World War II and the leader of the free world is asleep at the wheel.
President Obama’s lack of leadership, President Obama’s naivete, President Obama’s unwillingness to fight evil is putting us all in jeopardy. President Obama is not only imperiling his own country, but everyone on the planet who believes in the cause of freedom.

Obama is Ike Clanton at the OK Corral. He’s in the fight, but refuses to draw and is scurrying for cover, as the world burns around him.

Obama is Neville Chamberlain, believing that if he closes his eyes the bad guys will go away. They won’t. They never do, unless you exterminate them.

Obama is Jimmy Carter without the humanity and Bill Clinton without the soul.

Obama is a disaster and it’s becoming more and more apparent every day.

How many more innocent people will die while Obama sleeps? How many more attacks will occur while Obama sleeps? How many more people will ISIS recruit and torture and rape while Obama sleeps?

The President of the United States is AWOL. ISIS knows it and will continue to exploit this weakness to the best of their advantage.

I believe firmly that President Obama should resign immediately. In May of 1940, as the Nazis overran Western Europe and the British suffered a series of military disasters, Leo Amery, a Member of Parliament, stood up and said to Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, “You have sat too long here for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!”

Enter Winston Churchill. Where is America’s Churchill in this dark hour?

America has no Winston Churchill, nor, for that matter a Ronald Reagan or Maggie Thatcher. No, friends, we're stuck with Obama, and Obama-ilk. We have Pelosi, we have Feinstein, we have Reid or what is left of him, we have various others who attempt in their own, vain way of emulating those of once-great stature. We have only pussies, whimps, cuckolds and pantywaist-limp-wrist boys who can do nothing other than get on their knees and suck at the various appendages offered them.

No, my friends, there is no Churchill.

There is, instead, the "First, Great, Black President" Obama (Who is second to William Clinton, and third behind Jimmy Carter if we are counting). Black? The man is half black. DNA? Same as any white or black man, Irish, Israeli, Muslim, Indian or Native-American. No, he is a male by birth, pussy by choice.

He's neither Black, White, nor President.

He is, alas, chaff, the left over stuff after the grain has been collect. The stuff blown away upon the winds. The stuff that becomes the dirt of tomorrow and perhaps, just might feed a plant in the future.

    He is shit.

Pentagon Inspector General Investigating Obama ISIS Cover-Up

This is the same story as Benghazi

This is the same story as Benghazi. Except this time the intel was being cooked before the attack.

Obama needed to avoid responsibility so pressure was applied downward to produce the correct conclusions. With Benghazi, it happened after the fact. Here it was taking place beforehand since the administration needed to sell the idea that it was beating ISIS.

Now there's an investigation. Expect a few fall guys to be delivered for it, but the cover-up orders were coming from the White House.

In July, a group of intelligence analysts at the U.S. military’s Central Command accused their bosses of distorting and selectively editing intelligence reports about the fight against ISIS in order to portray that campaign as more successful than it really was. As a result of those complaints, the Pentagon’s inspector general opened an investigation.

Now, the allegations of misconduct have extended to a possible cover-up, with some analysts accusing the senior intelligence officials at Centcom, Maj. Gen. Steven Grove and his civilian deputy, Gregory Ryckman, of deleting emails and files from computer systems before the inspector general could examine them, three individuals familiar with the investigation told The Daily Beast.

One U.S. official said the alleged activity could amount to obstruction and interference with the inspector general’s investigation, which began last summer. He noted that files relevant to the investigation began to disappear from Centcom computers after the Pentagon watchdog’s staff began their work.
Has anyone checked Sandy Berger's socks? But it seems like servers are the new socks. It would be funny if Obama and Hillary were both undone by emails.

In interviews, several individuals have described Centcom as having a “toxic climate,” in which Grove in particular created an expectation: Those who toe the official, upbeat line about the fight against ISIS are rewarded, while those who don’t are marginalized.

“The cancer was within the senior level of the intelligence command,” one defense official told The Daily Beast.
Don't worry. Obama just found out about it from the news and hopes there's a full and thorough investigation followed by everything in the investigation being deleted off the servers.

    Companion Threads:

Court requires NYPD to purge document about how Islamic terrorists operate

    By Robert Spencer 20 Comments

The NYPD is now bound to pretend that the Muslim community is no more likely to produce terrorists than the Amish community or the Jain community. Here again, what could possibly go wrong? The Leftist ideologues who have joined with Islamic supremacists such as Linda Sarsour to bring this about seem to think that there will be no consequences to enforcing upon the NYPD ignorance about the jihad threat. Either they don’t realize that there will be more Islamic jihad murder in New York City because of this ruling, or they don’t care — and given that this is 2016, after 9/11, after Fort Hood, after the Boston Marathon, after Garland, after Chattanooga, after San Bernardino, after hundreds of thwarted jihad plots and more, it is apparently the latter.

“Court Requires NYPD to Purge Docs on Terrorists Inside U.S.,” by Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon, January 18, 2016:
The New York Police Department has been directed by a U.S. court to remove from its online records an investigation pertaining to the rise of Islamic extremists in the West and the threats these individuals pose to American safety, according to legal documents.

As part of a settlement agreement reached earlier this month with Muslim community advocates in U.S. District Court, the NYPD will purge from its website an extensive report that experts say has been critical to the department’s understanding of radical Islam and its efforts to police the threat.

The court settlement also stipulates that the NYPD make a concerted effort to mitigate the impact of future terror investigations on certain religious and political groups, according to a copy of the court documents published by the American Civil Liberties Union, which has spearheaded the case since June 2013.

Legal experts and critics of the settlement maintain that it could hamper future terrorism investigations and view it as part of a larger campaign by Muslim advocacy organizations in the United States to dismantle surveillance programs encompassing that community.

Critics expressed particular concern about the case in light of a recent surge in attacks on U.S. citizens committed by individuals pledging allegiance to terror groups such as ISIS.

A key portion of the settlement focuses on the NYPD’s purported use of a document produced by the department’s intelligence division to examine how radicalized individuals make their way to the United States and carry out terror attacks.

The document, “Radicalization in the West: The Homegrown Threat,” aimed to provide local law enforcement and policy makers with information about domestic terrorists and their operations.

As part of the settlement agreement, the NYPD will be forced to remove the publication from its database and vow not to rely on it in the future.

The NYPD and New York state government agencies included in the case “represent that they do not, have not, and will not rely upon the Radicalization in the West report to open or extend investigations,” according to the settlement. “Defendants will remove the Radicalization in the West report from the NYPD website.”

The settlement further affirms that the NYPD will be “committed to mitigating the potential impact” of future investigations on political and religious groups, such as those in the Muslim-American community.

While NYPD officials would not comment Thursday when contacted by the Washington Free Beacon, a spokesperson directed a reporter to a recent press release affirming the department’s commitment to upholding the court settlement.

The NYPD and relevant New York state agencies will “provide additional guidance to police officers as part of a settlement of lawsuits accusing the NYPD of improperly investigating Muslim groups,” according to the Jan. 7 press release. “While the City did not admit to engaging in any improper practices, the changes represent an effort to provide more detailed guidance to NYPD personnel within the existing Handschu Guidelines,” which govern how authorities investigate political activities.

The NYPD confirmed that it would remove from its website the 2007 radicalization report.

NYPD must remove records on Muslim radicalization

A U.S. District court has demanded the New York Police Department remove its online records regarding the rise of terrorism at the hands of Muslims.

It was part of a settlement reached with Muslim activists, represented by the American Civil Liberties Union, who claimed a 2007 document called “Radicalization in the West: The Homegrown Threat” violated the Handschu Guidelines, that prohibits surveillance of individuals and organizations based on religion.

The codes were amended in 2003 to allow the police more freedom in cracking down on terror.

Another part of the lawsuit will force the appointment of an independent monitor, appointed by Mayor Bill de Blasio to watch over the department.

In addition, the NYPD has said it will include in its guidelines policies against religious profiling and will “provide additional guidance to police officers”.

Legal analysts claim the ruling will hinder officials in trying to understand radical Islam and investigate terror threats, according to the Washington Free Beacon. Security analysts have agreed, while labeling the ruling as being politically correct.

But, John Miller, the department’s deputy commissioner of intelligence and counter terrorism issued a statement that the settlement would not weaken the ability of police to prevent terrorist activity in New York.

The NYPD must also now pay over $1 million to cover attorney’s fees of the advocates.

The document was produced by the NYPD’s intelligence division to investigate how people are radicalized, and how they get into the U.S. to carry out attacks, but officials have said it has not been used to open any investigations.

Muslim groups filed the lawsuit almost immediately after its release, and the Council on American Islamic Relations or CAIR issued press releases to condemn it.

The lawsuit was filed several years ago, while terror attacks at the hands of Muslim extremists has dramatically increased. The FBI is currently investigating supporters of ISIS in all 50 states.
