We checked it out here. I used my number 4 torch shades and number 10 glass from my welding helmet. Worked great perfect black dot in front of the sun, pretty damn cool.

Very cool! The pictures look great.

Thanks Rick for helping those of us who couldn't see it, see it. Especially since it will be quite a long time until it happens again.

As for viewing the video, rather than using CrapTime, I'd recommend VLC.

The camera I have creates .mov files. So, I didn't have a choice and didn't feel like hunting for conversion programs right them. It was a VERY long day. LOL
