Sniper Elite

The new Sniper Elite V2 came out May 1 or so I understand. Spent some time with the first game. I was wondering how the V2 is. Anyone here played it?

XBOX and PC

The initial release was a little clunky with its graphics, but the story line and game play was good. You play as a covert sniper in Germany just prior to the end of WWII. Pockets of German resistance and Russian NKVD are your enemies.

From what I can tell, the story line for V2 picks up from there and eventually you have the opportunity to assassinate Hitler.

Interesting... I'll have to look into it. Was going to say if it's for PC only I probably couldn't play it since my most advanced computer is my home theater PC.

This was typed on a 5 (going on 6) year old Dell XPS laptop.

If you do a search for "Sniper Elite V2" on YouTube, you'll be able to get a sense of the context and gameplay.

From what I recall from the first game, not that I play a ton of games mind you, it was the only game that ever evoked from me a very high level of stress. Pretty cool.
