Like millions of Americans, President Barack Obama was struggling to explain the results of last week's election, according to a New Yorker profile on the president.

Obama campaigned furiously for Democrat Hillary Clinton during the presidential race, and he repeatedly painted Republican Donald Trump as bigoted and xenophobic. Much of his legacy depended on a Clinton victory.

But when Trump won the election in a shocking upset, Obama still had some comforting words to say to his daughters.

"What I say to them is that people are complicated," Obama told The New Yorker's David Remnick:

"'Societies and cultures are really complicated … This is not mathematics; this is biology and chemistry. These are living organisms, and it's messy. And your job as a citizen and as a decent human being is to constantly affirm and lift up and fight for treating people with kindness and respect and understanding.

"'And you should anticipate that at any given moment there's going to be flare-ups of bigotry that you may have to confront, or may be inside you and you have to vanquish. And it doesn't stop … You don't get into a fetal position about it. You don't start worrying about apocalypse. You say, O.K., where are the places where I can push to keep it moving forward.'"

Trump and Obama seem to have struck a conciliatory tone since Trump's election, at least publicly. The two met privately last week, and Obama said he would continue to counsel Trump throughout the transition of power.

Masculine white men more likely to be mentally ill, says new 'study'

What would we do without psychological studies about sex and gender? We've had studies that most women are "part lesbian" and a lack of access to sports bras deters girls from playing sports. We've had a study showing that women are more likely to become lesbian if they don't have ready access to men and a landmark study showing that female chimpanzees are more likely to be domineering feminists.

And now we have a new study concluding that white, masculine men are more likely to be mentally ill, conducted by Y. Joel Wong, a man who isn't white, may not be masculine, and actually...who knows if he is really a man for sure?

Men who have "playboy" attitudes and believe in power over women may face a higher risk for mental health trouble than men who don't, a broad new research review suggests.

The finding on sexism, and other so-called "traditional views" on masculinity, stems from an analysis of 74 studies conducted between 2003 and 2013. The studies included nearly 19,500 predominantly white male participants, the researchers said.

The research "looked at expectations about what it means to be masculine, and how that relates to mental health outcomes among men," explained study lead author Y. Joel Wong.
"What we found overall is that the more that men conformed to masculine norms the poorer their mental health, and the less likely they were to seek mental health services," he said.

Wong's team focused on data concerning the embrace of 11 different types of so-called "masculine norms," including the desire to win; to retain emotional control; to take risks; to engage in violence; to exert dominant behavior; to participate in a "playboy" lifestyle; to be self-reliant; to elevate work to the highest level of importance; to retain power over women; to maintain a disdain for homosexuals; and to pursue "status."

Desiring to win = mentally ill. Retaining emotional control = mentally ill. Making work a priority = mentally ill. But I'm glad that at least these are traits associated with "masculinity." I'm not 100% sure what a "playboy" lifestyle or "retaining power over women" means; by these twisted standards, it may simply mean a refusal to be subservient to women like these emotionally castrated guys.

In the end, the researchers found that men who adhere to masculine norms are generally in a worse state of mental health, and less motivated to seek psychological help.

Maybe they didn't seek help because nothing was wrong with them.

You know, while this piece was quite fascinating, I seldom see studies about the suicide rates of the "transgendered" or studies about the mental state of minority men who father children and then walk away or studies about radical Islamists who execute complete strangers at a party, showing no empathy for their victims. But I do expect to see more studies about the twisted nature of white men, who have incidentally been the primary builders of one of the most tolerant and stable societies mankind has ever seen. (Can you imagine Michelle Obama's disdain at having to live in a society largely built by white men?)

‘We Have Put White Supremacy Into the White House’: CNN Commentator Rails Against Trump

During a panel discussion on CNN this morning, the conversation got a bit heated after one panelist made the claim that President-elect Donald Trump had directly brought white supremacy to the White House.

Political commentator Symone Sanders, who previously worked on the Bernie Sanders presidential campaign, responded to host Carol Costello asking about Trump’s statement against bigotry at his ‘Victory Tour’ rally last night. Costello also wanted to know if Trump was more effective when he plainly said “stop it” during his 60 Minutes interview regarding hate attacks in his name.

Sanders pointed out that the people who needed to hear that message “aren’t watching 60 Minutes.” She also noted that Trump had to have that anti-bigotry statement written into his speech last night and that he doesn’t seem to denounce it on Twitter or elsewhere with the same vigor as other subjects.

Sanders proceeded to rail against Breitbart, the conservative publication run by Trump’s chief strategist Steve Bannon, calling it a “white nationalist, white supremacist website.” She then slammed Trump for his association to Bannon.

“We have put white supremacy in the White House thanks to Donald Trump,” she said. “That is something that is very jarring for millions of Americans across the country. So we need words but we also need actions.”

The conversation continued around Bannon and his ties to the alt-right, with commentators Scottie Nell Hughes and Tara Setmayer debating over whether he should be involved with the Trump administration at all due to his divisiveness.

Sanders would later chime in again, telling Hughes that it was the “equivalent of saying I have a black friend” when Hughes pointed out that more than 200 counties that voted for Barack Obama flipped to Trump this election.

Black lawyer: Free anyone charged with murdering whites

In a new wrinkle in the "black lives matter" movement, an editor of a top-rated legal website is calling on blacks to scare whites by automatically acquitting African-Americans accused of murdering or raping whites, no matter what the facts.

On Above The Law, African-American editor Elie Mystal called for "jury nullification" by blacks when on juries in trials that focus on white victims.

"Jury nullification would get white people's attention. Remember how pissed-off white people were about O.J.? And that was just one dude. White people would notice if black jurors simply refused to play along," he wrote.

Mystal is a lawyer and media pundit for the popular website that covers legal wranglings and law gossip. His column came after a mistrial of a murder case against a white cop who shot a black man.

Mystal said blacks are frustrated with the legal system and should take it out in the courtroom. And he suggested it's a practice white juries use to help police charged with assaulting or killing blacks.

"Maybe it's time minorities got in the game," he wrote.

"Black people lucky enough to get on a jury could use that power to acquit any person charged with a crime against white men and white male institutions. It's not about the race of the defendant, but if the alleged victim is a white guy, or his bank, or his position, or his authority: we could acquit. Assault? Acquit. Burglary? Acquit. Insider trading? Acquit.

"Murder? What the hell do you think is happening to black people out here? What the hell do you think we're complaining about when your cops shoot us or choke us? Acquit."

His suggestion drew the scorn of George Washington University law professor John Banzhaf III, who writes regularly on legal matters. He wrote:

"What Mystal seems to be suggesting is that all black jurors should refuse to vote for a conviction for any crime committed against any white person, or any institutions perceived to be white, even if there is no apparent unfairness in the process, and even if the white person has done nothing wrong. Mystal suggests that, if even a small percentage of black jurors refused to vote to convict any defendant of a crime against a white person, it would create 'chaos' in the system."

And Mystal said that his is not a bizarre proposal.

"This is something that intellectual black people with legal training talk about. Honestly, what the hell do you expect us to do? How do white people think we're supposed to react when we watch cops murder us and get away with it, over and over and over again? We're just supposed to take it? Wait for America to produce nicer white people? The options for black America in the face of this state-sponsored injustice seem pretty limited," he wrote.

“He’s a very quiet person. He would give the shirt on his back to anyone that asked,” Diane Leblanc said.

Her son, Terry Leblanc, is still in critical condition after being shot in the face during an armed robbery just before midnight on Monday.

“The reason why somebody would want to do this to him or just anyone in general is mind blowing,” Houma Police Chief Dana Coleman.

Leblanc worked as a cashier at the Chevron Jubilee in Houma. Police said surveillance video shows 22-year-old Jasi Barabin walk into the store with his gun drawn. He points it at Leblanc and demands money. Just moment after Leblanc hands over the money, police said Barabin shot him in the face before leaving.

“To see this victim put his hands up, adhere to the suspects demands and you still shoot him? That angered me,” Coleman said.

Leblanc, who was conscious when police arrived, was rushed to University Medical Center, where his parents have been by his side ever since. Diane Leblanc said the bullet entered on the left side of her son’s jaw and is now lodged in his spinal cord.

“At this point, he’s pretty much paralyzed. It severely bruised the spinal cord, so it’s going to be a long road to rehabilitation and all,” she said.

MTV Suggests New Year’s Resolutions for ‘White Guys’ (Video)

Just in time for the holiday season, MTV News has issued a series of New Year’s resolutions exclusively for white males — because, the network says, white guys could “do a little better in 2017.”

A video posted to MTV News’ Twitter account Monday afternoon features a group of millennials lecturing so-called “white guys” as to how they can improve themselves in the New Year.

Suggestions include recognizing that America was never “great” for minorities, and to stop bragging about being “woke.”

“Can we all just agree that ‘Black Lives Matter’ isn’t the opposite of ‘All Lives Matter?'” one of the people in the video says. “Black lives just matter. There’s no need to overcomplicate it.”

“Also, Blue Lives Matter isn’t a thing,” adds another. “Cops weren’t born with blue skin. Right? I mean, yeah. They weren’t born blue!”

One woman suggests white people learn what “mansplaining” is, and then stop doing it, while another says that “nobody who has black friends says they have black friends” to prove they’re not racist.

“We all love Beyoncé, and yes, she’s black, so of course she cares about black issues. I’m talking to you Fox News,” one man in the video says.

Representatives for MTV News did not immediately respond when asked whether the network planned to produce New Year’s resolutions videos for other racial or ethnic groups.

MTV’s resolutions video comes after the network aggressively courted millennials during the 2016 presidential race with multiple voter registration drives. The Viacom-owned channel recently launched a “Classic” version featuring old favorites like Beavis and Butthead, Daria and Real World as cable cord-cutting has hurt its parent company’s bottom line.

Former President and one-time would-be “First Man” Bill Clinton placed the blame for his wife Hillary’s loss in the recent US presidential election squarely on FBI Director James Comey - and “angry, white men.”

According to Politico, Bill Clinton, responding at a spontaneous question-and-answer session at a New York bookstore to the question of whether President-elect Trump was smart, replied that “he doesn’t know much.”

However, “one thing he does know is how to get angry, white men to vote for him.” Analysis of election results has shown that blue-collar and middle class white men voted for Trump in large numbers, but also 40% of eligible women voters.

In addition, Clinton blamed Hillary’s loss on FBI Director James Comey, who had reopened an investigation into Hillary’s secret email server 11 days before the elections.

“James Comey cost her the election,” he said bluntly.

Clinton also accused the Russians of interfering in the election by hacking into the Clinton campaign’s emails.

“You would need to have a single-digit IQ not to recognize what was going on,” he claimed.

On Monday, the electoral college officially confirmed Donald Trump’s presidential victory.

But in a figurative thought bubble above his head, he is with the insurgentes in the jungle. And he has the best facial hair! Wow! What a tough guy.

Tuition and fees for the privilege of imbibing the professor’s race hatred and political deep thinking are over $34,000 a year at Drexel. Why any parent would send a child to a school harboring such a professor is beyond my understanding.

‘F**k Donald Trump, F**k White People!’: 4 People In Custody After Man Kidnapped, Tortured On Facebook Live

Graphic footage captured on Facebook Live showed a white man being tortured in Chicago by African-American assailants as they laughed and expressed their disgust for white people and President-elect Donald Trump.

Chicago police announced on Wednesday evening that they had arrested four people in connection with the crime, according to Fox 32.

The video, taken by a woman identified on Facebook as “Brittany Herring,” shows a white man tied up with tape across his mouth. The victim is shown being repeatedly hit, sliced at with a knife, berated and his clothes ripped off.

At one point in the video, the primary assailant shouts at the bound man, “**** Donald Trump, nigga! **** white people, boy! **** white people, boy!” while he kicks him. At another point in the video, the perpetrators laugh about being reported to the police in response to a Facebook commenter claiming they’re going to be arrested. They also mock another commenter who said their torture was not funny — by claiming it is funny.

The unidentified victim is currently being treated in a hospital for his injuries. The local Chicago CBS affiliate reports that the tortured man is categorized as special needs.



Fox 32 reports that no charges have yet to be filed in the case as of Wednesday night.

CNN host Don Lemon said Wednesday evening the broadcasted torture of a bound and gagged victim in Chicago was not “evil,” adding that the suspects had “bad home training.”

News broke nationally Wednesday after a Facebook Live video showed the victim beaten, slashed, held at knifepoint, and more in a Chicago apartment while assailants are heard saying “**** white people” and “**** Trump.” Chicago police held a press conference the same day to announce an investigation is underway and four adults are in police custody. The suspects held the “traumatized” victim for as many as 48 hours, police said.

“The fact that this was a vulnerable person that was probably duped into going along with them. It appears it is someone who is mentally disabled, I think makes it even more sickening,” said guest Matt Lewis. “But at the end of the day, you just try to wrap your head around evil. That’s what this is, it’s evil. It’s brutality. It’s man’s inhumanity to man.”

“I don’t think it’s evil,” Lemon replied. “I don’t think it’s evil. I think these are young people and I think they have bad home training. I say, who is raising these young people? I have no idea who’s raising these young people. Because no one I know on Earth who is 17 years old or 70 years old would ever think of treating another person like that. It is inhumane. And you wonder, at 18 years old, where is your parent? Where’s your guardian?”
During the same discussion, Democrat strategist and former press secretary for Bernie Sanders Symone Sanders said the attack was “not a hate crime” if the suspects were motivated by “hate of Donald Trump.”

No leader has been more divisive than President Obama, who, for the last eight years has made certain to drive a wedge between Americans on political, class, social and racial lines. The proof is made painfully and abundantly clear anytime a police officer is gunned down in cold blood or Black Lives Matter activists riot in the street with impunity.

Still, despite setting race relations back decades, Obama is still tooting his own horn, and said that while the recent torture of a special needs teenager by four black thugs is "despicable" it is not in fact a sign of worsening race relations.

Speaking to CBS 2 special contributor Jay Levine, Obama blamed racial tensions on social media.

"In part because we see visuals of racial tensions, violence and so forth because of smart phones and the Internet," he said.

"What we have seen as surfacing, I think, are a lot of problems that have been there a long time ... Whether it’s tensions between police and communities, hate crimes of the despicable sort that has just now recently surfaced on Facebook."

No. The fact that the President of the United States routinely emboldens thugs, undermines law enforcement, and pits blacks and whites against one another has nothing to do with it at all.

"The good news is that the next generation that’s coming behind us … have smarter, better, more thoughtful attitudes about race," Obama said as if he is the one responsible for that alleged positive trajectory (which, as we know, is not true).

"I think the overall trajectory of race relations in this country is actually very positive. It doesn’t mean that all racial problems have gone away. It means that we have the capacity to get better."

Obama is not out of touch. He knows precisely the damage he has caused to the African American community and to race relations in this country. The current genocide taking place in Chicago -- Obama's hometown governed by his former Chief of Staff -- couldn't be more substantive proof.

It is a shame, because America's first Black president truly could have had the capacity to heal the nation and do good for the black community.

That's never been the Left's agenda though, has it?

Hate Crimes and Media Double Standards

The leftist press's curious caution over the racially motivated torture of a mentally disabled white man.

The mainstream media have not hesitated to tar supporters of President-elect Donald Trump as racist, Islamophobic, misogynist bigots whenever they get a chance. They have been so eager to make their point that they have leaped at publishing stories that have turned out to be fake news. A prime example was the lie told by a Muslim woman, who claimed she had been attacked last month by three men screaming “Donald Trump” on a Manhattan subway train. However, when it comes to reporting any real hate crimes committed by black racists against whites they assume voted for Trump, major media outlets remain notably silent. Case in point has been the liberal press's handling of the kidnapping, gagging and torture this past week of a young mentally disabled white man in Chicago by a gang of black racists, whose video of the incident was being streamed live on Facebook. The thugs reveled in their self-glorification on social media as they kicked and punched the victim, cut his scalp with a knife and forced him to drink out of a toilet. They taunted the bloodied victim with screams of “F***Trump” and “F***white people.” The suspects have now been charged with a hate crime and aggravated kidnapping, among other charges.

The local Fox News station in Chicago reported on the incident Wednesday afternoon, providing sufficient time for the nightly network news programs to cover this obvious hate crime. Nevertheless, ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News failed to broadcast anything about the incident Wednesday evening. Those networks waited until Thursday to cover it. CBS Evening News devoted 27 seconds to the story on Tuesday, leaving out any details about the four suspects in custody or their racist invective. Substitute anchor Josh Elliott treated the incident as merely “another horrifying attack” in a city that “just had one of its most violent years ever.”

CNN host Don Lemon treated the whole thing as misbehavior by teens who were not properly supervised by their parents. “I don’t think it’s evil,” Lemon declared. “I think these are young people and I think they have bad home training. I say, who is raising these young people? I have no idea who’s raising these young people.”

On the same CNN program, Democrat strategist and former press secretary for Bernie Sanders Symone Sanders denied that the attack was a hate crime: “We cannot callously go about, classifying things as a hate crime. Motive here matters. So, was this for hate of Donald Trump, the President-elect because of the things he has said or was this pure hate of white people? Hate crimes are because of a person’s racial ethnicity, their religion, gender, disability--- not political leanings because someone doesn’t like your political leanings so they do something bad to you, that is not a hate crime.”

The victim’s racial ethnicity was white. The blacks who beat and tortured him did so as they exclaimed “F***white people.” The victim was also disabled. Thus he had two of the defining characteristics that Ms. Sanders said could render him a victim of a hate crime. Yet, Lemon’s guest, Ms. Sanders, blamed the attack on “political leanings,” while the CNN host blamed it on bad parenting.

NBC News correspondent Ron Mott treated the crime as if it were merely a comedy of errors. He said that “because they made so many errors, if they were truly trying to be criminal, to obviously broadcast your crime is not a smart thing to do.”

The New York Times buried the story of the crime on p. 17 of its Wednesday edition. At least, the article referred to it as an “apparent racial attack,” which is more than the Associated Press’s initial report of the incident did. However, the attack apparently did not qualify for the Times’ January 5th edition of its editors’ weekly compilation of “hate crimes and harassment around the country since the election of Donald Trump.”

The Obama White House was reluctant to call the vicious racially-motivated attack a hate crime. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said Thursday, “I think it’s too early to tell.”

As Newt Gingrich put it on Fox and Friends, "If this had been done to an African-American by four whites, every liberal in the country would be outraged and there would be no question that it is a hate crime."

The Left, with assistance from the mainstream media, has been peddling a false narrative of supposed widespread white supremacist hate against minorities, fueled by the election of Donald Trump, as part of a continuing effort to delegitimize his presidency. Ignoring or downplaying the beating and torture of a mentally disabled white person by racist Trump haters because it does not fit their anti-Trump dogma is tantamount to journalistic malpractice.

Georgetown Professor Calls For Whites To Have An I.R.A. – "Individual Reparations Account"

Georgetown Professor Michael Eric Dyson is proposing the idea that white people should have an ‘Individual Reparations Account’ to make donations to black institutions and individuals.

The idea is part of his forthcoming book, “Tears We Cannot Stop: A Sermon to White America.”

Dyson made the argument during an interview with Ana Marie Cox in the January 8 edition of the New York Times Magazine.

From the interview:

At the end of your sermon, you do a “benediction” section, in which you talk about making reparations on the local and individual level: donating to groups like the United Negro College Fund or a scholarship program, but also, to cite your example from the book, paying “the black person who cuts your grass double what you might ordinarily pay.” That gave me pause!

Good! I used to say in church, “If the sermon ain’t making you a little bit uncomfortable, it ain’t effective.” Look, if it doesn’t cost you anything, you’re not really engaging in change; you’re engaging in convenience. You’re engaged in the overflow. I’m asking you to do stuff you wouldn’t ordinarily do. I’m asking you to think more seriously and strategically about why you possess what you possess.

I agree with reparations, but maybe this is my white privilege speaking: I can’t imagine actually doing that.

That is what I meant by an I.R.A.: an individual reparations account. You ain’t got to ask the government, you don’t have to ask your local politician — this is what you, an individual, conscientious, “woke” citizen can do.

But charity can’t be the end of it, right? The Koch brothers gave the United Negro College Fund $25 million, but I doubt you would consider them “woke.”

No. Martin Luther King Jr. believed that charity is a poor substitute for justice. But I ain’t turning $25 million down.

Dyson believes his book will reach out to “the ocean of white folk” who are “deeply empathetic to the struggles of minorities.”

The professor and former MSNBC contributor told the NYT that his book opens with “horror stories” about his engagement with police. He says that those types of experiences with law enforcement are even shared by prominent black politicians like Barrack Obama and former Attorney General Eric Holder.

“The reality is that this is part and parcel of what it means to be black in America, and I wanted to spend time talking and thinking about it from a number of different perspectives to show white brothers and sisters that we aren’t making this up,” Dyson said.

According to the official George Town University website, from 2008 to 2014, Dyson taught Social Science classes titled “Barack Obama and Race,” “Hip Hop Culture: Orig/Mean/Conseq,” and “Hip Hop: URB THEODICY JAY-Z.”

Carlos Lozada, a non-fiction book critic for The Washington Post, effectively summarizes the inflammatory nature of Dyson’s book:

Dyson makes clear that he regards much of white America as a pernicious force. “We can do nothing to make our tormentors stop their evil,” Dyson laments to the Almighty. “How can we possibly combat the blindness of white men and women who are so deeply invested in their own privilege that they cannot afford to see how much we suffer?”

He likens law enforcement officers to terrorists (“We think of the police who kill us for no good reason as ISIS”) and slave drivers (“The police car is a mobile plantation”). He admits that he’d like to pay violence back in kind. “Lord, Dear Lord, I don’t want to feel this way, but I swear to you I want to kill dead any Godforsaken soul who thinks that killing black people is an acceptable price to pay for keeping this nation safe. But then, am I any better than that soul?” And, in shades of Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Dyson calls on God to “convict” America. “May this land know your displeasure, taste your holy wrath, for killing us like pigs without conscience,” he writes.

In December, Dyson wrote a racially charged piece for the New York Times titled, “What Donald Trump Doesn’t Know About Black People,” in which he accused the President-Elected of having a “vast ignorance of black life” and claimed that the “greatest purveyors of identity politics today, and for the bulk of our country’s history, have been white citizens.”

A similar call for reparations was advocated by Duke University Public Policy Professor and reparations advocate Dr. William “Sandy” Darity in 2014.

Darity advocated that anyone who could prove that one of their ancestors was a slave and that they self-identified as African-American would be eligible to receive publicly funded reparations.

Not including the involuntary reparations contribution paid when I closed out my old 401k. Can't remember how much that was but it was around another $15,000 I think.

Gee, nope, can't think of a single thing I could do with it if I had been able to keep even just 1/3 of that money I earned with my own hard work...
