Appreciate the heads up! Just didn't want anyone to think Thermolds were as tough as PMAGs.
Just got my NRA $25 BPS card in the mail!

They both came in delivery today in separate envelopes.
20% off Bushnell red dots which includes the well regarded TRS-25:
http://bushnell.com/Bushnell/media/F...-Form-2013.pdf
Deal is good through April 30.
Mountain House cans of food will be 25% off the first 2 weeks of April here - http://www.ldpcampingfoods.com
Free shipping also applies. More details on their sales here.
Do you have a link to the Bushnell? The form is linked but nothing about the site or price.
I think since it is a manufacturer's rebate, it is good regardless of where you buy the optic. You just need to send the box UPC and a copy of the receipt where you bought it in with the form.
Okay, Thanks!
Costco has 1 month's worth of stored food for one person on sale for $85 shipped plus a $5 non-member fee.

I got 2 of these last time they were on sale. It isn't as cheap as buying and repackaging dry goods or canned goods but, it is a quick and inexpensive way to boost your preps. And you will save a bit on the time spent repackaging said dry goods in mylar. Shelf life is typical of dry goods packed in mylar - 20+ years.
Sale is good until 4/21!
Another survival prep hot deal...
CVS has DAK canned ham on sale 2/$5. That's about $1.25+ cheaper than you can normally get it at Walmart.
Also, if your local CVS is out, they do offer rain checks!
I picked up 6 myself.
Just found out Northern Tool has a 5500 watt, electric start, China-made generator on sale for $300. You can use coupon code 161064 to take off another $50 and then, if you happen to live near one of their stores, have it shipped there free.
Unfortunately Northern Tool doesn't have a store even remotely close to me and it would be $100 to ship it. I seriously considered picking one up but just can't justify the $100 shipping when I already have both a 5500w and 3500w genny.

By the way, it does not come with the battery. The battery shown in the picture is a standard 12v like the kind used in alarm panels. I think an ATV battery would also work.
Hmmm.... I have enough crap to drag across country right now. Think I will hold off.

Anyone need a real cheap chest rig?
http://www.unclesamsretailoutlet.com...668-p/5012.htm
It is a USMC issue chest rig. It's mainly meant to be used in conjunction with an armor carrier but works fine on its own apparently.
Here's the features:
The price on these is $19.99 plus shipping. If you're only buying one (so the order is under $20), you can select the $5 flat rate shipping.
- 1000D Cordura
- Six (6) internal pouches that can accommodate M4/M16 magazines with retentions lids
- Two (2) outward pouches accommodate
- Two (2) velcro closure mesh pockets
- Carry strap inside center pocket
- One (1) zip closure mesh pocket
I didn't really need one as I'm all set with gear (I've got my own plate carrier and a couple extra FLCs I'd picked up) but decided to get one to see how it stacks up. It looks like a stout piece of gear, especially at the price, and better than the FLC.
After I ordered mine they only had 43 left.
Some people just need chests to pin their medals on.... lol

Well, I got my chest rig.
Mine looks like it has seen some light use but in otherwise good shape. Seems to be made of sturdy materials. Plenty of pockets and storage options right out of the box. No need for additional pouches or anything to hold mags.
Only downside is it did not come with the clip-on harness that would allow one to actually wear this as a standalone chest rig so now I need to hunt one down. If all else fails, I'm going to see if I can't go straight to the source (Ibiley Manufacturing) and see if they'll sell me one.
Would have been a really good deal if it had come with the harness (some apparently have) but without it, it is kind of a wash.
