Fox news ticker? How about a ticker that pulls news from several places?

red is a little bright for me still, looks pretty close though! Seems faster loading too.

Okay, give me a bit and I'll knock the red down another notch or two. It will take a while because there are a lot of variables that need changed.

With the news ticker, what other sources were you thinking? I can set up several inside the ticker box.

Oh, I was thinking like the major news services.

I don't actually TRUST most of them to provide (as Mal showed today) exactly what is going on, but it gives you a chance to see what the trending stuff is.

I've been trying to find a good way to aggregate news lately, like on my Kindle. I'm using a thing called "Pulse" at the moment and it works ok - but it tends to grab trending news of the moment.

The problem I have with that is simple. The stuff we collect and read here is NOT Trending (or trendy) news. When I have to go and HUNT and DIG hard for news about Iran and the US squaring off, or the Russians moving ships to Syria it tells me that 99% of the planet is CLUELESS.

So, I'm kind of thinking that even if we do use a ticker arrangement (I saw the one we have, it's hard to read too) that we're still going to only get what they want to feed us.

I'm not so sure that putting more sources in will HELP that situation.

The red is still quite vivid to me as well, but i do see a subtle knock down. I do need glasses now, I am thinking, as my eyes just do not always work as they used to.

This site: http://www.2012infocenter.com/ uses a news aggregate for many news feeds. Might look on the left column for an overview.

Facebook integration is now complete!

If you take a look at the top right, you will see a Facebook Connect button. This will allow you to link your Facebook account with your TAA account. With the link up you will be able to publish new threads you start, publish replies you make to threads, "Like" threads, and publish other site content like articles and blogs to your Facebook page as well.

The "Publish To Facebook" option is right next to the "Post Reply/Thread" buttons.
